"Movers were 15 minutes late but called to give me an ETA, were respectful, but that was the only good with the move. The truck wasn't loaded according to the steps provided on the wall of the truck. My boxes were loaded and taken first. A 2nd trip was made to get the bigger items. The whole move was from 12:45 pm to about 11:10 pm. And I had to help to prevent it from going any longer. It cost me $1100 dollars, too much for a local move, just a few miles down the street. If the 3rd floor was too much, I don't think movers should not have accepted the job. Some furniture was scratched, a cabinet door knocked off while locked and the key lost, and content of some of the totes tipped over in the truck. The thing that got to me was the nonchalant attitude of the mover(s) that nothing went wrong and the job was done professionally after I pointed out the issues."
