Splendid Gardens is a full-service landscaping company. We can be reached 972-898-0030. We offer comprehensive services: 3D Landscape designs, landscape installation; seasonal flower design, installation and follow-up care; tree pruning and tree care; flagstone patios, walks and paths; tree installation; minor irrigation repairs; installation of pots with fabulous flower displays; edible herb gardens; perennial gardens. We also offer organic garden care. We additionally provide holiday decorating from pumpkins in October to Christmas displays and Christmas lighting. We do not use subcontractors, we do all work within our team. We have 150 years of combined landscape experience within our team.

Initially Elizabeth was responsive thru the selling process but once she got paid things went sideways quick, she would duck phone calls and be slow on email responses in my opinion. Overall a truly awful experience with Elizabeth and Splendid Gardens. The most frustrating part was Elizabeth's communication style which at best I'd describe as immature, caddy and unprofessional. On any project it is understandable that miscommunications can and do happen, but when ours arouse she frequently did not return phone calls. Then there was the over promise and under delivery. We were assured the plants would live and if not they would be replaced. The plants did not make it thru the winter and when we reached out to Elizabeth she not only didn't replace them, she refused to come out to look at them, stating that it was "too early in the year" to know if a plant is dead or not. Well, I may not be a horticulturalist but I know a dead plant when I see one. Elizabeth said she would have to wait 3 additional weeks to look. She never showed or responded to us again. The whole experience was disappointing and a bit surprising from my perspective. We paid quite a bit of money, most of which went to the landscaping understandably. The flowers, her communication style and honoring her word should have been the easy part for her.

Told representative I was stuck in traffic through our ring doorbell for our 12 o’clock appt and would possibly be 15 minutes late. This was 11:55 by the way. She couldn’t wait. Ended up arriving at home at 12:00 anyway, and she already left. I passed her truck driving away. I guess they don’t have time for their customers. So, I wouldn’t do business with them

"Had this customer stated politely they would be only 5 minutes late, of course I would have waited. We were 25 minutes early to the scheduled appointment. Through their ring doorbell I was abruptly told that "he was stuck at lunch and would be at least 15 minutes late." We agreed to reschedule. In separate Angie's list communication he advised I should have called to confirm prior. Surprised at this review, everyone's time is valuable."

Great professional team takes care of all landscape maintenance. I’ve found them to be responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive. They do a great job cleaning up, notify us of potential issues, and send out emails advising us to adjust sprinklers and cover plants. Can highly recommend!

Elizabeth and her team are outstanding! I struggled for years to find someone to keep my lawn and gardens healthy and well maintained at a reasonable price. I have finally found what I was looking for with Splendid Gardens. Elizabeth always follows up in a timely manner and sends helpful notes when watering needs adjustment, etc. They are also great about making suggestions on which flowers to plant and the seasonal flowers last all season long. I also had a sprinkler emergency and Elizabeth took the time to call me back on a weekend and get someone out to fix the problem asap. I highly recommend Splendid Gardens!

The project went well and as planned. The Splendid Gardens crew always shows up on time with everything they need to get the job started and completed as scheduled. At the end of the job they cleaned up so well you would have never known they were there. If they had any questions during the job they took the time ask for me for any clarification. Elizabeth and her crew did a fantastic job! She took the time to meet with me and knew exactly what I wanted done before the job was scheduled. She quickly responded to any questions I had and stuck to her proposal to the penny! No hidden charges, no surprises. She also followed up with watering and care instructions for my new plants. I’ll call her again the next time I have any landscaping needs.

A fantastic experience from beginning to end. Elizabeth came to the house to discuss her ideas. She then emailed a landscape design along with pictures of the plants she had selected. After I made a couple of changes we set up the install date. Her install crew is amazing. Very punctual, courteous & some serious dog lovers. My dogs hated to see them leave. I did make a change the day of the install asking to add a second crape myrtle that wasn’t in the original design or bid. Elizabeth very willing worked with me to make that addition. I highly recommend Spendid Gardens, they take pride in what they do!

The company name says it all- Splendid! We have been clients for several years now and the service and attention to detail is impeccable. The crew takes pride in their work and Elizabeth Hark is an attentive and highly professional owner. She posses strong communication skills and has extensive knowledge . Splendid Gardens does all of our lawn care, tree trimming , landscaping , power washing and holiday light installation. The men are punctual , polite and professional. I highly recommend them.

It was great! I was so pleased when everything was done!! Elizabeth was very quick to respond to my initial inquiry and her team got in and out very quickly even though it was a lot of work. They were very very thorough and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. I have zero complaints. Since that initial clean up, I have asked Splendid Gardens to do a monthly maintenance on my property. I have emailed Elizabeth a number of times with ideas or questions and she always responds quickly with advice or other ideas. It is great! The prices were very fair!!

Splendid Gardens is absolutely the best lawn service I have ever had. The owner, Elizabeth Hark, oversees every detail and the crews are outstanding. We are under a full maintenance agreement and we've never had to ask for something to be done. In fact, they go way beyond my expectations! They also provide many other maintenance services besides lawn care and it's so nice to have them available for all my outdoor needs.

Splendid Gardens is a highly professional, responsive and thorough full service yard care company. We have been using them for nearly 2 years and are extremely satisfied. When they finish a service call, there are no weeds, no loose leaves, every edge is neat and straight, and every bush trimmed. They do not just "mow and blow". We never have to be concerned about the appearance of our yard.
