"Salesman/co-owner arrived and did not want to climb onto roof to inspect actual problem or cause of damage or leaking. Instead, he wanted to see estimate from insurance company for how much they would pay and then wanted to be hired to be our GC to negotiate with the insurance company to a price point that Sunroom probably felt was reasonable to take on the business. I had a follow-up phone call with the salesman and requested instead a quote for full replacement and a quote for complete repair or sealing to watertight state and to provide the necessary scope in order to complete those work products since they are the "experts" in that field and that their bid would be evaluated outside of whether there was an insurance claim or not. After waiting a couple of days past the timeframe when the salesman promised that he would write up and deliver the bids, I checked with the salesman on progress and he declined to even want to provide service to my home. Everyone is entitled to refuse service, but I suspect that he was offended when I wouldn't allow his company to earn above average profits by screwing my insurance company and delivering an unknown work product, so I felt a review was appropriate."
