"Project went great. Mike had good ideas and suggestions to make our side yard more functional and improve curb appeal at the front of the house. I liked the plants he selected. Mike was easy to work with and communication was good throughout the project. Work completed on time and on budget."

"Way beyond the norm, as these trees remained a big threat and danger to my home. The crew worked night and day to take down and remove them. Haul off and stump grinding, all services I would rate excellent. AND, all of this has been done in the recent rainy month.Repairs that are needed as soon as conditions allow, will be done as well. Mighty fine caring professional arborist. So very glad I called Bryce Reed's Outdoor Service."

"We had them build us a pond. It took longer than expected but mostly because of COVID. Mike and his crew were awesome. The first bridge that they installed wasn’t very sturdy so they totally built a newer one from scratch. Stained it and delivered. It looks awesome! My husband and I are both very pleased. Mike and his company went the extra mile!"

Dirt Hauling questions, answered by experts

Yes, many providers recycle eligible appliances. Confirm with your contractor.

Costs depend on concrete thickness, removal method, labor, and disposal fees.

The best way to choose the right dumpster size for your project is to speak with a reputable dumpster rental company. Let them know what job you’re doing, including the size of the project and the type of material you’re disposing of. These professionals have experience with fitting heavy and bulky items and can advise on how to dispose of everything safely and legally. A representative should be able to guide you in choosing the best dumpster for the job. In most cases, the company will advise you to size up to avoid overage charges.

When deciding between renting a dumpster and hiring a junk removal service, the key factors are the type of project, the items you're discarding, and your timeline.

  • Rent a dumpster for longer projects like remodeling or construction. It offers flexibility, allowing you to dispose of debris like broken tile, drywall, fixtures, and yard waste over several days. You will be responsible for loading the dumpster yourself.

  • Hire a junk removal service for quick, hands-free disposal. This is ideal if you want to get rid of a pile of junk quickly, or if you have heavy or bulky items like furniture and boxes that you don't want to lift yourself. The professionals handle all the labor, often clearing everything out within a few hours.

Follow the instructions of your dumpster company to pack it correctly, both for safety and efficiency. In most cases, bulk items are best at the bottom, and smaller items fill in the gaps. Try to balance the weight of your dumpster by filling the base end-to-end before piling anything else on top. Additionally, never fill the dumpster higher than the top rim so your team can safely transport it to the dump.
