All the works were completed the same day as promised and a follow up work to close the last hole the following week. When I thought I saw a squirrel was able to get back to the attic, Metro Pest Control immediately sent out the workers to inspect the problem. "Showed up to the house within a few hours of my call and removed the beehive rather quickly. I had a newborn (3 day old) at home and we were pretty worried when we saw the dozens of bees hanging out by our garage. They definitely helped take care of the problem quickly and, so far, the bees have not come back.
The only odd thing about the service was that the price I was quoted on the phone did not include sales tax. I don't deal with a *lot* of contractors/handymen/pest control folks, but I have dealt with quite a few... And this is the first time I have ever been surprised by an addition of sales tax after the job was done. I strongly suspect, but can't prove, that the sales tax was added after deducting the Angie's List discount to basically recoup that cost. Of course, I don't have any evidence to prove this and wouldn't even know how to start, but that is the way I was left feeling after being surprised by sales tax. "Kevin Kasky (the owner of All American) came with our house. The former owner recommended him, and we are so glad that he did. Kevin makes routine quarterly visits to our home to perform preventative pest control treatments. Since we live near a greenbelt, our house is a magnet for all types of bugs, including spiders and scorpions. Kevin has a great working knowledge of the Dallas-Fort Worth pest population and will, upon request, offer detailed explanations for his choice of chemicals and treatments. With his help, we have been able to eliminate our bug problems.
In a particularly challenging situation, Kevin assisted with the humane removal of a family of squirrels who had nosily taken up residence in our attic. What shocked me was how far Kevin said he needed to drive to ensure that the captured trespassers didn't make it back into our house!
But the real reason we keep going back to All American is our trust and comfort level with the owner himself. Kevin makes all of our house visits. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely trustworthy. His prices and policies are fair and reasonable.
