After 19 months the home that was supposed to be a turn key finished project was not completed, and we were informed that they would not be completing the project as agreed to, but were not going to lower the price. The Project manager changed 3 times. Our point of contact changed 4 times. It was a constant battle to get them to do the things they said they were going to do. In the end my family lived in a shop for nearly a year and 3 months after the project was supposed to have been completed. We are now renters rather than home owners so we've lost potential equity. Interest rates have gone up so we've lost ground there as well. And I was told that they decided not to finish the project as promised because costs had gone up and that OCG should have revisited the contract with us when the house changed it's footprint over a year ago. This was conveyed with a few weeks left for completion. At the outset of the project we were told no less than 10 times they would be breaking ground "this week" and were disappointed all 10 times. I'm attaching pictures of the "finished project" we were expected to pay full finished project pricing for.
