"We had Sam, Bradley, and Mason assist us with a move from one part of King County to the other. They were kind, patient, professional, adhered to CDC COVID-19 guidelines, and made our experience much more pleasant. Moreover, Emma also helped us locate crating and packing materials for the move."

"I am not finished with my move with Best Quality Movers, LLC, because they are still storing my **stuff** in their warehouse in LA. However, up to this point, it has been a positive experience. Their people were careful and professional with the move. I will update this review after the completion of the move."

"Ryan and his crew, Tom and James, were great! Ryan provided excellent communication and service setting up the delivery of 2 U-boxes to my new home in Bend, and then again to accommodate me wanting to change it to a day earlier. The crew was very careful not to bump or scratch anything and was courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend Oregon Packing and Loading to help with your move! Anita K."

"Marley's Movers traveled from Albany, Oregon to Las Cruces New Mexico to pick up my sister's entire household to move to Albany. They arrived right on time, got to work packing immediately.. They were both efficient and careful in packing my sister's items. Furniture was handled carefully and packed securely in the trailer with plenty of protective padding all around. The people that came to pack my sister were so kind to her. She had dementia was easily confused and forgetful. They treated her with such respect and I very happy to see that. I highly highly recommend this company. I was so happy with everything they did to help me and my sister. I have used them for local moves as well. I think anyone that hires Marley's Movers will be as happy with them as I am. Penny Davis"

Moving questions, answered by experts

Many Eugene homes have narrow hallways, steep stairs, or split-level designs that can make moving large furniture challenging. Measure all doorways and stairwells before your move, and look for obstacles like low ceilings or tight corners. Sloped driveways or mature landscaping may limit moving truck access. For complex layouts or older homes, consult with a moving professional to plan safe, efficient entry and exit routes.

Helpful?

After moving in Eugene, check for moisture buildup around windows and in basements, as the climate is damp much of the year. Clean gutters and inspect weatherstripping to prevent leaks. Change HVAC filters regularly due to pollen and wildfire smoke. Examine your roof and siding for moss or algae growth, and schedule seasonal checks on your heating system and pipes to protect against cold snaps.

Helpful?

Before moving in Eugene, schedule your move to avoid the heavy rain typical from late fall through spring and steer clear of university move-in weekends, which can cause traffic and limited parking. Confirm any neighborhood or HOA moving restrictions, and request parking permits if needed. Notify local utility providers early for smooth service transfers. Book moving services in advance, and ask about contingency plans for wet weather or limited truck access.

Helpful?

As a new homeowner in Eugene, prioritize setting up water, power, and waste collection services promptly. Inspect gutters and weatherproofing to prepare for the rainy season. Secure tall furniture for earthquake safety, and consider air quality solutions for wildfire season. Update your address for local services and research nearby schools or community centers to help you settle in and connect with your neighborhood.

Helpful?

In Eugene, if you notice damp spots, musty odors, or warped floors after moving, moisture exposure may have been overlooked. Scratches on wood floors, chipped paint, or loose railings often point to rushed moving jobs. Missing or incomplete inventory lists, or utilities not properly transferred, are red flags. If you discover these issues, document them and contact your moving service to resolve any outstanding problems.
