We had them paint our brick house, the wood trim, and the windows. They did an amazing job and took a few changes we had during the project with ease. They completed the job within the week and were absolutely the best. They were personable and great to be around.

Throughout the job, there was great communication and everything was well organized. We hired them to paint three interior rooms--walls and trim--with rather bold colors, and we are very pleased with the results. The painting team was very efficient and kind, and they were done within a day and a half. We didn't ask for any changes/touch-ups afterwards because we were happy with the job, but I feel confident that if we had, the company would have gladly organized that. They clearly want their customers to have a good experience.

We have hired Gonzales to paint our kitchen cabinets, to paint our interior trim, to repair and paint the exterior fascia, and to paint our backyard fence. We have been pleased with their professionalism and their attention to detail. In particular, we wanted the sprayed on finish on our cabinets to be consistent and glossy. When we were not pleased because of overspray or thinness of the paint in some areas on the cabinet doors, they took the doors back to their spray booth and redid them. We have nothing but good things to say about Gonzales painters. They may not be the cheapest, but we don’t mind paying a little extra for professional results. Don’t hesitate to give them a call.

Gonzalez Painters and Contractors did an excellent job painting our house and decks. Edward, the crew manager expertly matched all the paint. He made sure all the details were covered like sanding the window and door frames that had been installed unfinished by Anderson. And they replaced a defective decking board that had been oozing sap for years. My wife and I are very satisfied with their work and highly recommend Gonzalez Painters.

We hired Gonzalez Painters and Contractors Inc. to repaint the exterior of our two story farm house. Unfortunately, we DID NOT get the “A” team to perform this work. A sub-contractor was assigned. The crew leader, Victor H., did not lead his team to success. Instead, Victor spent a lot of time on-site sitting in his van. Another day he performed automotive work for 2 hours on a vehicle that came on-site (private property I might add). This vehicle and person was not associated with or part of the paint crew. Towards the end of this job, Victor placed his personal business magnet on his van and recorded a video that he posted on his personal business social media (TikTok) account taking full credit for the work (again private property). Other Gonzalez jobs we have seen in progress have actual Gonzalez vehicles on-site and crews that are wearing clothing that identifies them as Gonzalez. That wasn’t the case with our job. I guess Gonzalez decided our job was on the fringe of their service area and the poor quality/outcome would not impact their business. When the crew was taping plastic over the windows, one guy intentionally sprayed the plastic in the center of the window where an inside security camera is located by spraying the plastic in the exact location of the camera making the camera totally nonfunctional for it’s intended purposes (duh, cameras do record video). Totally unacceptable conduct. Needless to say, at the final inspection/walk through of this job, due to lack of attention of Project Manager (Ruby), this crew leader’s lack of attention, poor quality of work, or care revealed a good portion of the scope of work was incomplete. There was also areas of overspray. Gonzalez sent the same sub-crew back out to address what had not been done. The overspray was not corrected. As an out, Gonzalez’s management (Javier) extended a discount to us to compensate for the overspray. Since we didn’t want Gonzalez to do any further damage or work for us, it was in our best interest to accept the discount and move on. Overall, our home and property was treated inferior and disrespectful. The skill level of the crew Gonzalez sent to perform this job did not match the GPC-Way or Gonzalez’s strong marketing campaign. Extremely disappointing. Paint began peeling a couple months after the job due to insufficient prep! Would most definitely NOT hire again.

They did a very nice exterior paint job including wood rot repairon a house in north Durham, and finished well within the expected time frame. Thanks Gonzalez Painting!

Excellence!!! My experience with this company was very professional and timely. Customer service is prompt and amazing. I met with sales for quotes, met with project manager for detailed service plan. I had my whole house interior painted. Also front door and shutters… they go the extra mile to please. Gonzalez Painters’s protected my furnishings and floors did an amazing job. All the painters were prompt, courteous most of all professional. I felt safe with them… they did exactly what they said they would do. I highly recommend this company!

They did an excellent job with the popcorn ceiling removal which I know was a difficult job, more difficult than anticipated & added to the cost. The wall sanding and patching was very good too. A few painting items were initially missed but they remedied them once we revisited the list of what needed further work and marked the areas needing attention. This is somewhat frustrating since we did a walk through and provided a list of work at the beginning of the project & this was not a cheap project. I would have preferred if I didn’t have to point out that baseboards needed to be painted over where it got messy (wall trim color over white baseboard) or that window frame caulking, filling, and painting needed to be done per our estimate and expectations. Seems like the communication needs improvement during the project. It also would have been helpful to get a reminder to have replacement filters on hand as the work was extremely dusty and the filtered were covered in dust. Yes, it’s common sense but with all the activity I wasn’t thinking ahead about that. So-be sure to keep track of your list of items and be thorough reviewing the crew’s work during the project. Ultimately they will do a good job but you may have to do some hand holding and have them return to address missed items.

The Gonzalez team - estimator, scheduler, supervisor, painters, office staff - all did a great job. They coordinated well. The paint job was excellent.

I cannot recommend Gonzalez Painting enough! We used them to do wallpaper removal and painting. All their services were very professional from the estimator, the administrative staff, the job supervisor and the painters themselves. The work was done quickly and they did a beautiful job. They were very thorough in cleaning up the site after the job was finished. I highly recommend this company!

I am extremely pleased with the work. I especially liked that they took the kitchen cabinet doors and drawer fronts to their shop to paint. The only painting done in my home was the cabinet frames. Even with sanding, priming and two coats of paint, they finished in a day. Other than having a new paint color, there was no evidence they were here - left the space immaculate!

I replaced the siding and trim on my home, and Gonzalez Painters & Contractors did an outstanding job. I have received a ton of compliments on the work they did and how my house looks. Everyone I came into contact with from the company was helpful and extremely nice.

They were very professional. They were very respectful of our belongings and to take great care in protecting all the floors and furniture during the painting process. They assisted in moving furniture to accomplish the task. I would hire them again.

I was "sold" when I saw the detailed and extensive prep work you did before picking up a paint brush or roller! We have very high standards, and you met them! You, personally, were attentive, patient, responsive, and beyond professional, and your crew, likewise. We just had Gonzalez Painters & Contractors paint some rooms and ceilings in our home. The sales rep (Fernando) was so understanding of what we wanted and provided a very timely, and reasonable, estimate. Even though this was a small (day and a half) job a project manager (Edil) was assigned and proved very helpful in color selection. The crew was so polite and careful. The owner even stopped by to make sure all was going well. We couldn't be happier with the final job, and will definitely use Gonzalez in the future.

They did a wonderful job painting the exterior of my house and staining the deck. They were on time every day and did exactly what they said they would do in a timely fashion.
