"Our backyard had a large uphill slope, rendering most of it unusable. Additionally, there were drainage problems and a lack of privacy. All of these prevented us from enjoying our yard. Gardens of the Carolinas was the most responsive when we initiated initial inquiries, which continued throughout our project. John and his team were fantastic to work with for our backyard project. The team listened to our concerns and provided an extensive long-term vision for rectifying them and making them an area we’d enjoy moving forward. Based on our immediate needs, we decided to take a phased approach by adding a timber retention wall, a stone wall with lighting, and privacy trees. They also tapped into our existing drainage solution and made it more efficient. I view this as providing us with a canvas for future projects. We are very pleased with their work and will be a repeat customer for future phases of their initial plan. "We hired Timesavers Landscaping to build a tiered stone edge wall for our front yard flower garden & add sod to the side yard. They finished today & the results are fantastic!! Eric took the time to talk about the design & any potential drainage issues given our sloped grade on one side. With Eric’s input, & a few pictures of what we wanted, we had a clear plan moving forward. The team, Eric, Michael, Tyler & their workers, communicated clearly throughout the process, were professional, easy to work with, and delivered exactly what they promised at a fair price. Their craftsmanship is excellent, and the project went smoothly from start to finish. We did have one issue with the stone. The big box store was selling defective stone so, at the last minute, Eric found different stone. What he found was even better & not that much more expensive. This was all easily resolved within 2 days. I would absolutely hire them again (we have plans for the back yard) and highly recommend their work!"

"The landscaping team was punctual and worked for most of the day on the project. Due to the slope of our property and the recent rain, the team had to do all of the work by hand. They took extreme care and had meticulous detail with the hedges that were moved to ensure they were evenly spaced and filled the new space most effectively. The underground drainage system was implemented exactly as I had requested to mitigate pooling from rain storms. All of the work was reviewed with me and any required modification if they didn't meet my satisfaction was guaranteed. Vin and his staff have always been prompt to respond to any requests and have done a fantastic job working with us to get our property and grass looking the way I want it to. We have been using Vin landscaping for over a year now to treat our yard and repair the grass that was very nutrient deficient and mostly weeds due to lack of care from the previous owners.
