"This is the third time I've hired Chief Roofing. As previously, the crew was punctual and professional and completed the work in a timely manner. In addition they cleaned my gutters and removed the debris, leaving everything as they had found it. I highly recommend this company!"

"Consolidated Roofing Systems is simply the best. From Fred and Billy and the entire crew, customer service really impressed me. I haven't seen that kind of customer service for a very long time. The workmanship is superb from start to finish. The product is definitely top of the line. I'm so glad I found this company and would certainly recommend them to anyone. Thanks for a great job!!"

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

"I think things went well. I was kept informed about schedule changes, trips to obtain more supplies, shown roted material and summoned to review various stages of chimney take down and rebuild. The work was done by Mr. Bailey and an assistant over a 3 day period. The activity consisted of shingle installation, remove and reinstall Hardi Plank Siding and corner boards on chimney; remove and replace horizontal "fascia board" which caps the end of rafters outside the home also used to hold the rain gutter; chimney corner board replacement; remove and replace roof panel/chimney sheathing; frame new chimney cricket; install chimney flashing, step flashing, and winterguard ice and water shield. Work was completed as promised and clean-up was thorough.
In late summer an upstairs bedroom showed signs of water on ceiling. The room is located under the chimney area of the attic. Mr. Bailey arrived the day after I made the report and inspected the bedroom, attic and roof. An area at the base of chimney needed additional sealing. He made the repairs and there have been no additional problems.

"Gemma and Tom, the company's owners, are two fantastic people. They and their crew went above and beyond our expectations as they not only replaced the roof of the house in a timely and professional manner, but also re-roofed the shed at no additional cost, a shed that was in dire need of repairs. When they came to clean the yard, they not only removed debris from the installation, but also racked up all the leaves around the house! On top of everything, they gave us a nice gift to thank us for using their services. If this is not top-notch service, I don't know how else to call it! I would definitely and absolutely recommend them to anyone out there looking for roofing services, and wouldn't think twice about hiring them again in the future."

Chimney Caps questions, answered by experts

By positioning ductwork for optimal airflow and reducing potential leaks.

A range hood is an exhaust fan for your kitchen, and several types and styles exist. They are meant to remove grease, moisture, and fumes from your stove. Although some models filter and recirculate the air, the most effective ones remove the air through a duct that’s vented to the outdoors.

Yes, with features like LED lighting and variable speed controls for efficiency.

No, you can’t install just any microwave over your range. You have to get a specific type of microwave known as an over-the-range unit. These include venting and lighting features that you’ll need above your stovetop.

Although countertop units are more affordable, they won’t work for this type of installation. To avoid hazardous conditions in your kitchen, buy the right type of microwave for your needs.

You should contact a local range hood installation professional to install your range hood and do the ductwork. Prices range from $50 to $100 per hour, with the total number of hours required varying based on the project complexity. Simple installations might take an hour or two, while more complicated ones can take four hours or more.
