"Earl cleaned 2nd floor carpets (8 rooms) in our house. His dry clean method is far superior to somebody dragging a water hose device across hard wood floors and up hardwood stairs. The results were fabulous and no wet carpets for 24 hours or more. The necessary chemicals for heavy stains are included in the quote so no upcharge surprises. My wife was so impressed with his proffesional demeanor. If you're needing rugs or carpets cleaned and dont want sloppy wetness, Earl is the man."

House Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Separate your junk pile into three categories: trash, recycling, and donations. Many cities offer bulk trash and recycling pickup for free or a small fee. Specialty items, such as those with refrigerant, will also require a special appointment. You can also speak with a junk removal service to create a plan for getting rid of junk over the course of a large project.

Unless it’s written into the purchase agreement, there’s no legal obligation that a house you’ve bought has to be clean before you move in. The previous owner is generally required to sweep the house, but that doesn’t guarantee everything will be spotless upon your arrival. If possible, discuss the cleaning requirements with the real estate company before moving in.

Professionals use brushes, vacuums, and diagnostic tools to ensure thorough cleaning and safety.

The time it takes to pack any kitchen depends on its size and how organized the space is. A kitchenette in a tiny abode could take 4 to 8 hours, including decluttering. However, a standard or much larger kitchen can take a full day or longer, depending on the number of items, including appliances you own.

You can remove stubborn stains from your toilet by scrubbing with a store-bought cleaner appropriate for the toilet’s material. If you’re looking for a homemade solution, you can also use vinegar and baking soda—just pour 2 cups of white vinegar around the edges of your toilet. Once the bowl is wet with vinegar, sprinkle 3 tablespoons of baking soda, concentrating on the stains. Scrub the bowl with a toilet brush and flush to clean the mixture.

Just a note: While combining baking soda and vinegar is OK, never mix that solution with any other cleaners.
