"Pro installed wallpaper in my bathroom. He did an excellent job. He was on time and communicated what I needed and what he would provide. No issues with him at all! Will hire again!"
"This company performed a stellar job . I was impressed by the quality of the work , the professionalism and the communication . Mr. Green was very thorough and detailed , kept me appraised of every step of the job and explained to me what needed to be done and why. They started on a Saturday, showed up every day at exactly the time they said they were showing up. For a potentially messy job, they left the house clean , covering the floor every morning and removing the cover every day at the end of the day . The workmanship was also excellent. I will hire them again ."
"Outstanding work, the walls and trim look great. There is no question that we will hire that company again. The workers were careful, personable and cleaned up when they were finished."
"I purchased the "deal" that provided the use of two painters for a day. Because of the prep work, all of the painting could not be finished in one day. I then paid for a second day. But, they were still unable to complete all of the work. The small toilet area was not painted at all nor were the skylights. Mike, overall, did an excellent job because he is an excellent painter. He is also a clean painter in that he cleans up the work area and doesn't leave a big mess at the end of the job. He has a positive, "can do" professional attitude, along with a desire to please the customer. I was just disappointed that they were unable to complete the job in a two day time period. So, in order to get the project finished, I will now have to pay for a third day. Maybe I'm being unreasonable, but I think two painters ought to be able to paint a bathroom and a bedroom in two days. I will continue to use Mike and his company for my painting needs because he is a great painter. But, for future reference, I will get a better understanding of the length of the job and the total cost of the job before beginning. "
"Mike and Crystal were very professional from the first phone contact through the completion of the work. They showed up on time, their work was neat and they worked very efficiently. My windows were in pretty bad shape. They really took their time and prepped them very well which showed in the finished product. When asked to redo or touch up anything it was done without question. In the end we received a very good paint job on a timely basis and at a competitive price. I have already recommended Mike's Painting to others in my neighborhood and would use him again for future painting needs. "
"Javier was very professional and thorough. His company arrived on time and did a great job! He gave a very reasonable quote, was able to schedule the job promptly and picked up the paint that was needed at our request. We would highly recommend his company for your next paint job!"
"Amazingly fast. Also very courteous, reliable, inexpensive. Our entire 2800 sgft home interior was stripped of wallpaper and painted in record time. A real pleasure to do business with."
"Perfect! They taped, patched and painted my mothers entire first floor. They did the trim, walls and ceilings too. Fast and professional. We highly recommend."
"My appointment was scheduled at 9am and two gentlemen, in a truck with a different company name, arrived at about 9:10am. I asked them if they were with Pro Green and they told me that they subcontract with them. The small bathroom that I wanted to have painted had one and a half walls with wallpaper and they gave me a quote of $800 to have the wallpaper removed and the walls ready to paint. I told them that I was going to hold off and got a refund for the $99. I got a quote of $400 from another gentlemen to have the wallpaper removed, walls prepped, the bathroom painted, electrical work done, and install the towel racks."
Yes, many companies offer convenient options to accommodate service timing needs.
Think hard before deciding to German schmear your home’s exterior brickwork. If you do not like the look, you are pretty much stuck with it, as it is impossible to remove this finish the way you can remove paint. You risk damaging the underlying brick if you have to chisel and acid-wash it away. It will also take a very long time, and remnants of the mortar wash will always remain.
Removing a wallpaper border requires the same process to remove full walls of wallpaper. Clear the area, spray down the surface with your hot water and vinegar solution or store-bought spray, wait 10 to 15 minutes, then scrape it off with a putty knife. Sometimes, border wallpaper lifts easier than larger sheets, so you can just peel it right off the wall by hand.
Limewash can be removed from brick, but the method of removal will depend on how long the limewash has been on the brick. If the limewash has fully dried—which happens after about five days—you’ll need to use a diluted muriatic acid mixture to remove it. If there are multiple coats of limewash, you may need to apply the acid mixture several times to fully remove it from the brick.
Costs depend on wallpaper type, wall condition, labor, and necessary repairs.
