I should start by mentioning that I was able to get this job started three days after giving the estimate as you were in need of the painting done in very short order. I had painted for you a few years earlier and you were very happy with my work. We did not rush the job and I didn't disappear once. I did have to go to the paint store a couple of times and, considering you are in Governor's Club, it takes forever to get out of there and to the store and back. I can't believe you are talking about us "not bringing food and water". We never asked you to make sandwiches for us or give us water. You offered several times and we said yes thinking that you were being really nice. That's really bizarre to complain that you had to waste your time to get us food and water. We didn't request or require that and had we known you were upset about it, we would have refused. We weren't running over you. We were working on finishing up the job, and packing/cleaning up. There were some issues that you pointed out that evening (Wednesday) that did need to be fixed. I was going to stay, but I would have had to be there until quite late, so we agreed that I could return on Friday. I fit this job in due to your quick need and the fact that you were heading out of town soon. I had another job already on the schedule that I couldn't bump, so I returned on Friday. To be honest, you are one of the pickiest customers I have had in 23 years of painting. I was shocked to see 100+ blue tape stickies everywhere in the bathroom. I pride myself on satisfying my customers, so we spent the whole day there fixing up everything and repainting the bathroom walls. You were happy when I left.
