"The remodel went really well. We gutted two bathrooms and replaced everything. JPR Remodeling workers worked very hard to make our bathrooms beautiful. They were punctual, professional, fast and very accommodating. The workmanship and attention to detail is top notch. Their estimate was reasonable and the final invoice was very close to the quote. Our home is 36 years and as they walked through our home, they encountered several areas that needed repairs and they brought to our attention. When we asked for additional items to be replaced/repaired, they were able to do the work without delaying the remodeling process. This was our first remodeling experience and we could not have asked for a better contractor. We will work with JPR Remodeling on our future remodeling projects and will continue to recommend them to everyone we know."

"This was a pleasant upfront and honest experience. I was concerned with getting all the work done in a timely manner but after 5 days of work all the issues stated above were completed. I would recommend Swan Roofing to anyone in need of a roof or other related repairs. The customer service was excellent which is very hard to find these days."

Chimney Repair questions, answered by experts

Professionals use resin fillers, diamond polishing pads, and sealants to restore the surface.

Yes, vinegar can break down the adhesive bond, effectively dissolving the glue from wood. It will be much easier to wipe away. Vinegar’s acidity, which helps to make it an effective all-purpose cleaner, can also aid in removing adhesive with less chance of damaging the wood and finish than more aggressive solvents.

Cupping and bowing are both types of wood warping, but they affect the board in different ways. Cupping happens when the edges of a board curl upward or downward, creating a concave or convex shape across its width. Conversely, bowing is when the board curves along its length, forming a gentle arc.

Yes, you can disassemble most furniture with the proper tools and experience. Beds, tables, bookshelves, and chairs are all items that can be disassembled. Be sure to keep track of parts like screws and hardware by labeling them with the disassembled items. Avoid disassembling delicate or antique items in case they become too damaged to reassemble.

Learning how to fix water-damaged or swollen wood is possible, but it won’t always work if there is significant warping or structural damage that was caused by the water. Cosmetic issues such as nicks, bubbling and peeling can often be fixed by using an iron, sanding, or using wood filler.
