"It went great. The initial work patched the roof where the rats were coming in and out of the attic. They put flashing up where needed, and painted it to match the surrounding flashing. Inside the attic, they put traps out in common spots. The plan was to check it after a few days, then after a few weeks. A couple of weeks in at dinner, we heard a trap go off, but found no evidence. I called them to notify them we found a faint odor Saturday morning. It was cold outside, but they wanted to remove the carcass as soon as possible, so they drove out that day. Fantastic staff, owner, business, would definitely recommend to anyone with pest/varmint problems!"

"The lead irrigation technician, Sam, came out earlier than scheduled after calling me to let me know there had been a cancellation and that he could come sooner.
I was immediately impressed with him and his knowledge of my system even though another company installed it.  He educated me on every aspect of my controller panel, showed me a couple of things I needed to keep an eye on, installed a new battery in the rain sensor and then had to clean gunk out of it so it would register correctly.
Sam checked every aspect of my system, made any necessary adjustments and gave it a thumbs-up.  He set my watering schedule exactly the way it should be and explained the use of the "seasonal adjustment" feature.  I'm good to go now!  For the first time in 2-1/2 years since the system was installed I now understand the "why" and the "how" of everything.
He was very efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.  I will certainly call on Village Green again for my irrigation needs, and I want to commend the owner, Ken Hyatt, for having such a wonderful employee as Sam on his team!

"Was getting a second opinion on a termite bait installation from Prize. When the guy came out, he told us that the quote we had gotten from the other company was more than was needed, gave us good information on why, and was honest about the actual need. Would definitely recommend and am planning to look at switching normal pest control services to them in the future."

"Great crew. I had never had to have bees removed before and was worried they would end up in my house or my attic and the site would be a mess when they had finished. I did not have to worry. They answered all of my questions. Told me exactly what they were doing and why. They handled my vinyl siding like it was their own. It was a huge plus for me that they could vacuum the honey bees from the hive and relocate and not kill them. Hopefully I will not have another hive appear but Bee Safe will be the people I call."

Animal Removal questions, answered by experts

Iguanas cause a variety of damage to properties and pose other dangers. Their tunnels can collapse seawalls and foundations. They destroy native plants, trees, gardens, and agriculture. They compete with native animals for food. Their droppings, left almost anywhere, can transmit salmonella which is especially dangerous to vulnerable groups like children and the elderly.

The brown recluse has numerous predators in the wild (or close to your home). They are a valuable part of the ecosystem, too. Their predators often include birds, praying mantis, crickets, chickens, spider wasps, and more. However, the brown recluse spider is a master at hiding, making it much more difficult for predators to hunt them.

Squirrels have a strong sense of smell and can be deterred by various scents they dislike. Effective options include peppermint oil, rosemary, garlic, cinnamon, white vinegar, coffee grounds, and predator urine. Squirrels also have a strong aversion to capsaicin, the compound that makes chili peppers hot, making capsaicin-based repellents a good choice for protecting specific areas like gardens or bird feeders. For a DIY solution, you can create a garlic and vinegar spray and apply it daily. Additionally, placing strong-smelling items like certain soaps or dryer sheets near where squirrels frequent can also be effective.

There are a few ways to keep pesky bugs away from your garden. One option you have is to plant flowers so beneficial insects like ladybugs can control pests for you. A similar method is companion planting, which means you’ll grow vegetables that’ll discourage pests, like garlic, onions, and basil. The best pest prevention method will depend on the bugs you have issues with and the plants in your garden.

Like many other rodents, squirrels can be a little difficult to get rid of (especially in the case of an infestation), but the best approach is to make the place as unattractive to squirrels as possible. If you do have an infestation inside your home, then professional help may be necessary so you can lay as many traps as possible.
