"Everything went very well. I submitted 3 project requests and Metro Pest Control was the first one to call immediately (and the only one to respond). Free estimate was scheduled the next day and was professionally conducted. Detailed works were explained item by item. I thought the price was reasonable (compared to what my friend paid other company) and the description of the work to be done was thorough. All the works were completed the same day as promised and a follow up work to close the last hole the following week. When I thought I saw a squirrel was able to get back to the attic, Metro Pest Control immediately sent out the workers to inspect the problem. They assured me the squirrel did not make back in, but they went ahead put extra safeguard anyway. Highly recommended."

"We consulted other pest control companies who wanted to dictate their services into a big huge package. But we chose B3 Pest Solutions of Dallas who wanted to work with us and not dictate to us so that we could seal out the roof rats that had eaten into the eaves of the house and then eaten their way thru the walls into the house and then destroyed the water heater and flooded the floor. The rats destroyed every bit of food in plastic and cardboard containers in the entire kitchen even chewing into trash bags! B3 Pest Solutions of Dallas came to our rescue. They were informed and professional doing what they said they would do, Took before-and-after pictures that showed the condition of the house and then the work they had done -Were reasonably priced. We highly recommend B3 Pest Solutions of Dallas. They are our heroes!! More like family than like some of the other companies who want to dictate rather than help with practical solutions. They rescued us and we are grateful for their expert advice, help and solutions. Their price was also the best. GLAD WE TRUSTED THEM! HIRE THEM WITH CONFIDENCE! Some of the nicest people in Dallas!"

"Pickle Pest Control came out to my property and performed their Initial Treatment plan, since it had been quite some time since I had last had my property serviced by a pest control company. Not only did they immediately get to work, but they informed me of what all they were doing, and why, as they completed their work on my property. Great execution by Pickle Pest Control! Highly RECOMMENDED!!!"

"Ive had pest/rodent problems for the last 6 months. Had 2 other companies come out , charge me an arm and a leg and it seems as tho the problem only worsened. Kenny was referred to me by a fella at Home Depot one day and I said what the heck , I'll give him a try . And I'm sure glad I did. Very professional , very informative , very knowledgeable and at a very competitive price . I'd highly recommend his services"

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

To keep wasps away from your home, you can consult with an exterminator about preventative measures and potential follow-up visits. For a non-lethal approach, consider installing a fake wasp nest, as this can deter wasps from building their own nearby. You can also use natural repellents. Wasps dislike the smell of substances like coffee grounds, cinnamon, and vinegar. Additionally, planting certain plants in your garden or in pots near doors can help repel them; these include eucalyptus, peppermint, lemongrass, and basil.

Exterminators remove mice in walls by identifying entry points and sealing them to stop further access to these spaces. They may then open drywall to place food-scented traps inside for capture and then reseal to open and retrieve traps later. Next, they place traps along walls or baseboards inside, as mice tend to follow walls using their whiskers for guidance. Afterward, they may recommend repairs or modifications to prevent future infestations.

To freeze bed bugs, they’ll need to be exposed to very low temperatures of 0 degrees Fahrenheit or lower for at least 4 days. You can use a remote thermostat to determine when the infested item reaches 0 degrees. Keep in mind that bed bug professionals have the high-quality tools and equipment needed to eradicate bugs using extreme cold, so it’s best to hire a pro for this method.

Boric acid is among the harsher chemicals you can use in your home, and it poses risks whether ingested, inhaled, or touched. Kids and pets alike tend to put their hands and mouths on anything within reach, so it’s always a good idea to store boric acid in a spot they can’t get to and use it only when they’re not around for an extended period. When you use it, ensure they’re out of the house and fully clean up any trace of boric acid when you’re done because even a small amount can cause problems.

There aren’t any solutions that can rid your yard of mosquitoes for good. But with a good integrated management strategy that combines repellents, treatments, decluttering, and drainage, you can keep populations in check.
