On Memorial Day weekend my 20 year old air cond stopped cooling;  unit came with the house so I had a Home Warranty Co in case something went wrong.  They had done minor repairs over the past few years.  Turns out this time it was the coil.  I'll spare you the details of the miserable situation I found myself in between the Home Warranty Co and the AC provider they sent out, but after a WEEK of back and forth and still no resolution, I fired them both and called AirCo on 6-7; I had "interviewed" them 2 years ago but decided not to get a new unit at that time.  So I called the office to have someone come out.  Office person said they could be there at 2 but I had a meeting I couldn't get out of.  Got put on hold for 5 seconds and when she came back she said Craig could be at my house in one hour!!  Craig was 10 min earlier than expected, had the proposal written in about 15 min. and set the install date for 6-14.  Install people also showed up early, very polite and happy guys and they got right to work.  That might have been the end of the story EXCEPT, stuff does happen now and then! 

One of the install guys missed his footing and stepped thru my kitchen ceiling.  He was fine, but big hole!  I called Craig who said they had a great guy, Miguel, who handles all repairs and to call the office and tell Stacy.  Called, Stacy was "not available" BUT Paula could help me!  Paula said she'd call Miguel and he'd call me, also gave me his phone number.  Literally 10 min later Miguel called, all apologetic it took him so long!  

Bottom line:  Install folks patched the hole, finished their install and cleaned up beautifully.  Miguel came the following day and did the initial fix; we let the paint dry 4 days and he returned to finish with a second coat of paint.  Had a picky neighbor come see the repair job and even HE couldn't tell anything had happened.

"These guys are awesome!!!! I woke up at 8am Sunday morning in JULY and my AC WAS OUT! I called three other companies and they either did not answer or I left a message. When I called Metro AC Dewayne answered and told me he could have someone out today, he also explained their emergency call service fee of $150.00 but I totally understood since it was Sunday morning. He took my information and told me a technician would call me within the hour. Larry, the technician called me about 15 min later and said he could be there by 1000am. Dewayne called me back about 45 min later to make sure Larry had called me and set up a time. Larry showed up at around 950. I showed him where the compressor was and that it had been running but the fan had not been spinning. He looked at everything and came in and explained he felt it was only the capacitor but it might be the motor. His plan was the replace capacitor and if that didn't work we would change out the motor. He replaced the capacitor, checked the pressures and temps coming out of AC, changed out my air filter (which he did not have to do) and was done by 1100!! Larry was nice and used shoe covers and was very professional! Metro air conditioning will be my new go to AC and heating repair and maintenance shop!!"

"One of the heaters in my home went out. I called Allied on 12/19 at 4pm and got their after hours voicemail. Since it was only 4pm, I was a little concerned that maybe they had already taken the rest of December off for Christmas. However, they called me at 7:30am the very next day and sent their crew over later that morning. I was grateful they were able to come over so quickly. They had to replace a part associated with the pilot light sensor. Fortunately, they had the replacement part with them so I didn't have to wait several days for a part to be ordered. They fixed the heater quickly. They were on time, professional, and everything went well. I would recommend them."

"I found them through Costco. I called to ask questions however they said that you have to set up appointment with a sales rep to come to your house. I hate sales rep because they all talk too much and make false promises. But I want a water filter system and they had good reviews, so I agreed. Unfortunately we got Andy. He talks way too much but I knew we needed the system so I listened to him for over an hour. He was very nice and responsive initially. He had also promised to come back to spread grass seeds on the part of our lawn that they had dug up. Which he never kept. He told me to call him after the system was installed so he can come and check the water. That never happened. Because he said he would call my husband and come over on Saturday, he never called until I texted him. He called my husband and told him that he was out of town and he would send us a Lowes gift card and we can go buy the grass seeds. So decided to call and ask what was going on. He proceed to tell me (with an attitude) that I was confused and that maybe he wasn't providing good customer service to me. Our call got disconnected and he never called me back. Instead he decided to text my husband promising more things. When my husband confronted him of his attitudes, he never respond. So I decided to call the company and once again unfortunately the wrong person picked up, Dee. She listened and apologized and said she would communicate with Samuel so that he would contact me. She confirmed when I texted her the second time. Friday evening 9PM, no calls. I texted her asking about it because I had waited all day. she proceed to tell me this: "thanks for following up, his car was broken into yesterday so he lost a day. I am sure you can understand his stress." No apologies, just an excuse. Also, it was highly inappropriate for her to share that details with me. I told her it was an unfortunate event, however someone should have reached out to me. Not wait til I ask. she then said, "S. you don't sound like you have compassion." "He is a young father. Please try to be understanding when you talk to him, he is not responsible for the preceding. I am bending over backwards and I feel like your attacking my efforts. If you were robbed how well would your schedule day go that day?" "If my cleaning lady makes a promise but can't keep it because she got robbed, I will not be mad at her. I care about her first." And there's more but I'll spare you. After my husband called the owner, who was super nice, he sent Samuel to us. Samuel pulled up his phone record and confirmed with me that Dee NEVER contact him to give him my information. The time that she did that was right after I messaged her on that same night. Both Andy and Dee are extremely rude and unprofessional. It was a good thing that Samuel came and did things right. Samuel was professional and very nice. As far the installations: our front yard was dug up but that's part of the process. they didn't put it together as good as we had expected. Our flower bed drip lines were showing but they tried to make it better. My husband and I just went ahead fixed it ourselves. We enjoy the filtered water. We had a meter and tested it ourselves as well. you'll notice that your skin wont as dry as before. They installed the reverse osmosis in the kitchen - no more trips to the water store. Overall the product is good but the service from the two rep was absolutely horrendous. My sister has a whole house water system from a different company and she loves them. I should have went with her company. But what's done is done. Their products isn't the problem. It's the rep."

"Joe Cook Heating and Air Conditioning is the contractor that originally installed the air conditioning system in my home when it was constructed in 2001. This was the second time I've used them for service since then. Both times have been a pleasant experience. I discovered the backup drain dripping outside on Tuesday night. Called Joe Cook on Wednesday morning. Their first availability for a service call was Friday. The technician arrived during the time window given. The repair was done efficiently and professionally. The only issue is when they are busy, it may take a while to schedule a service call."

"This is such a great company! My Technician is Zee who does a great job and is informative along the way and above all, he is honest. I am mechanically able so when the AC fails, I check a few things out in advance and have a good idea of what is wrong before the tech arrives. I have had OTHER COMPANIES outright lie about failures but I can read and use a voltmeter. I have also been told that if I didn't have ducts cleaned, I was risking my family's health - Wow! Zee is always on target, to the point that I would have thought he was one of the owners because of the professionalism he brings to the job. DT / Zee has been out several times now. My AC was out and I would have waited another day in the heat to have Zee service the AC. Thank you!"
