Here's a more refined, less repetitive version that maintains the same level of frustration and negativity: WARNING: Read Before Hiring Xtreme Air Services If you're considering Xtreme Air Services, take a moment to read this--there's a treat at the end. Surprise, surprise... yet another negative review. Let's start with Eddy O., the so-called "General Manager." Our Experience Eddy made it clear that Xtreme Air Services "wouldn't be able to help us" if we posted negative reviews about their incompetence, despite the fact that they improperly installed our unit, left us with a potential fire hazard, and disabled one of our heat coils (without our consent). Screenshot attached. After leaving us with a heater that doesn't function properly in winter, their solution? Pay thousands more if we want them to "help." Comical. So, in order to get the service we already paid for, we have to stay quiet? Oops. A Few Key Points: 1. Threatening not to help the customer with an issue you created? That's just ignorant. Zero integrity. 2. Why would we pay more to an unprofessional company that sends unqualified, non-bonded, non-insured workers to botch an installation? Rude, unaccountable, and incompetent from top to bottom. 3. This experience makes spending our money elsewhere EASY. The CEO is an imbecile. We paid over $12K for a unit that now operates on half power because the breaker they installed can't handle it. A professional company would've caught this--Xtreme Air Services didn't. Even their own seventh technician admitted, within seconds, that it was installed incorrectly. Still not convinced? Let's Talk Fire Hazards Both the Xtreme Air Services technician AND a third-party electrician confirmed our system was a fire hazard. Eddy (who is not a licensed electrician) claimed it wasn't because "that's why the breaker trips." That's not how fire hazards work, Eddy. This system was installed in the summer. Clearly, not one of the seven techs they sent even tested the heating function beyond a few moments. Fast forward to winter--our heater trips the breaker after 5-10 minutes, sometimes running inconsistently (aka, a fire hazard). Xtreme Air's Response? * No accountability. * No apology. * Just more incompetence from "General Manager" Eddy, a pompous clown who lacks both professionalism and basic customer service skills. Instead of addressing their negligence, he condescended, interrupted, and dismissed legitimate concerns. He even had the audacity to tell me we "don't have that many cold days in Texas." What does that have to do with selling and installing a properly functioning heating system? The real kicker? Their own sales team KNEW this system wouldn't work. They either failed to test it or outright lied. Either way, we now have a fire hazard and an unusable heater unless we fork over an additional $2,500-$3,000. Xtreme Air Services is an unprofessional, dishonest company that cuts corners and are a JOKE professionally.

I asked them to come out to move a drain. They charged us a service fee even though they wouldn't be able to perform the service without the house plumbing plans. Why they did not tell me this information before coming out I have no idea. I canceled my travel plans for today and it proved to be a waste of time and money

Initial installation appeared great. I will say the people working to install were very nice. However, where I had a licensed electrician install power and cut off in conduit for the outdoor compressor, the installers moved the conduit and left a section of wires hanging out of the eave. The system was installed in early fall, when winter came a room that had always been comfortable was cold, later in summer it is hot, tends to be at least ten degrees variance from rest of house. The really big issues started later, within six to eight months. First, they replaced a large part, not all, of the ducts. The plenum boxes started coming apart and allowing conditioned air into the attic. When summer arrived I found that two vents now grow moldy, drip water, or **** moisture onto the ceiling. Never had this before with my old system. I have had these people out multiple times and it never gets better. The floor is always wet under one vent, the other drips down the wall and stains the ceiling. You can smell attic air coming into the system. Take a look at the pictures. Finally, I purchased a service contract with these people. When they came out to perform service I would here how they were not able to replace the filter because they didn’t bring one of the size required. You would think when you have spent well over fifteen thousand dollars, and purchased a service contract that their data would tell them what to bring as an air filter for the service appointment. Bottom line, I am now talking with other HVAC people to rework the ducts and fix all the issues this company left me with. To have this many issues starting within three months of installation and now two and a half years later the problems are worse to the point of giving up on these people. Nice people when you talk to them, bad product - I would highly recommend looking elsewhere.

I've had these folks come to my house three times now. The third time, they told me they needed to order and fix a part in my A/C. This was about 1.5 weeks ago. Since then, I've spent multiple times on hold with them trying to schedule an appointment. At one point, they went ahead and scheduled me without even asking if that day worked. The email said "call to find out time." So I did. They said between 8-10 a.m the following day. I took off from work, stayed home, and at 8:30 they called to let me know the person wouldn't be there till noon. I went back to my office, and called at 12:30 for an update. Tangela, the scheduler, then told me she would call them and see when they're coming. Thirty minutes later - nothing. I called back, and they said Tangela had gone to lunch. How nice that she should get to go to lunch while I am sitting at my desk trying to make up hours for when I'll need to leave. The dispatch lady told me to "stop getting frustrated at the right person," at which point I told her I'd like to cancel all of my service agreements with them. Let's see if anyone actually calls me back. In the meantime, I'd suggest avoiding this company like the plague. Their installers and workers are amazing and so helpful, but their dispatch and scheduling is an absolute joke. You're better off going with Willard or AdVent. Both are reliable and actually show up when they said they're going to.

Josh came out promptly, diagnosed problem and repaired. The replaced capacitor cost $30.00. We were charged $319.00. Seems exorbitant for 30 minutes time. Angie’s List indicated they give 10% senior discount. We requested a detailed invoice We only received a text saying we were charged $319.00. That is not DETAILED. We’re we given the discount? Who knows...... not us

The process took 4 1/2 days to complete with a 2 men crew. Originally, the sale representative promised the job would take 1-2 days with a 4 men crew. We had water leak on the ceiling when they took out the old downstairs unit, and after the new unit is installed (clogged drain pipe). They did come out later to clear the drain pipe and fixed the wet area on the ceiling. Overall, the installation doesn't go well. They made several mistakes but they did fix them and the crew was nice.

It went good with the exception that he only had an expensive thermostat on his truck. However he discounted it some which made the total cost more reasonable.

What a great group of professional people. Starting with Lindel, who came out listened to my concerns and desires for a new system; he then made logical recommendations and gave clear explanations. The day of installation Roland, Mathew, Justin, Brendon and Pedro were here to do what it took to install the new system. They were professional, personable and made sure the work was well installed. When they left, everything was clean and as if they had not been in the house. Except for the great new AC system and the promised quiet comfort. I will recommend these guys any day. Amazing great job!

Awesome. The tech was thorough , checked everything, measured temp outputs upstairs and outside and explained everything he was doing. Their regular hours go until 11PM so we had no surcharge for an emergency call. He was very helpful and easy to talk to. When we get a new system in the next year we will be calling Xtreme.

He came was very nice but I was not present at the beginning of inspection but my wife was. When I arrived he had already did the repair then told me it was a minor clog. That I could have handled myself. But now instead of 30 it would be 155. I could have don't it myself and save 120
Response from Xtreme Air Services
"Hello, we are sorry to hear that you were not happy with the price. All of our fees are flat rate and that is what we charge for a drain line clog. Hopefully in the future we can accommodate you better."
