They were more enthusiastic about selling me a new system . They offered to give me a price break if I purchased a new system within a certain time frame. I told them I would consider it. Fortunately I was able to find another repair person who fixed the unit on site by replacing a few gaskets and a piston. It only took half an hour. Their trip fee was less than Progressiveâ s and thatâ s all it cost me to get my softener fixed. I am updating my review because the owner of the company contacted me and apologized for their inability to fix my water softener. He also sent me a check for a full refund of their trip fee."

"After interviewing several companies for the job, we were referred to John Schaus owner of A & E Water Conditioning. We scheduled a meeting to find out about his products and service. He answered all of our questions and we were pleased by the price of the system and installation. We went ahead and scheduled the installation. His plumber came to Rocky Mount, NC from the Raleigh area the next day and installed the system. The co owner came out later that afternoon from Raleigh and inspected the job.
