"I have a 120 year old house, so the walls are thicker than today's houses. As a result, the windows I had, which were put in around the late 70's, were set too far into the exterior siding, something Dave immediately noticed. Dave had the guys install a raised strip around the outside of the brickmold before installing the caps, so now the window frames sit out further and look much better. They also removed the old windows from the outside, leaving the interior trim intact, which was great. The new windows look fantastic. They also do a much better job sealing out road noise than the old ones, which was important since we live not far from a highway. Ashley and Dave, as well as Mark the installer and his crew were all top notch professionals. Fast, clean, courteous and way more knowledgeable about their trade than anyone I've worked with on the many projects we've taken on. Their window line is top quality, AND we got a great deal based on the research I did, other bids, and people I know who have paid way more for windows. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing new windows! They rock."

"Fantastic and professional. We have a small house and lost some of our gutters to a snow storm, so we decided to renovate the rest of our gutter system while repairing the damaged sections. Working with HGE was a refreshingly positive experience. All of their team members were courteous, straightforward, and responsive. The work took two days with a weather interruption in between, but communication was prompt which let us accommodate the weather. All in all, great company. I just wish they did fencing so I could hire them again."

The office staff kept me informed when projects were going to start & their duration, when dumpsters would be dropped off or picked up, as well as letting me know when they wouldnâ t be there due to weather issues- rain and high winds. All the crews were polite and answered any questions I had. I had the Remodeling Company do my roof, tear down the old deck, build a new deck to code, and install vinyl siding and new gutters. I had had an open insurance claim for part of the roof & after the Remodeling company inspected my roof, they sent pictures of hail/wind damage to my insurance company. While insurance wasnâ t going to pay for the new claim because it was less than my deductible, the Remodeling companyâ s persistence and taking & sending insurance people more pictures of the roof has resulted in my getting money towards the roof for both claims! My house has had most of the work completed and it looks fantastic! I could not be more pleased with my selection of the company to do the updates to my house. By the way, my hiring the Remodeling Company came about as the result of a knock on my front door when they were doing work in the area. I did check them out and saw they were very highly rated & the next day we got into specifics about the project and talked money and timeframe.
