The first time they came to install, the old unit did not have the pipe as they thought so they had to re-group and create a Plan B. That is when they hired a plumber to come and reroute the pipe from the stub-out. After that was completed, it was a week or 2 before they came back to finish. Most of the time communication was pretty good, but there were a few breakdowns. The first rain we got was about 10and quot; in a day. Therefore, we had LOTS of dirt settling around the tank and the irrigation lines. The system was pretty much all exposed and 2 of the spray heads were no longer buried and of course not spraying correctly. They did come back(when they backfilled old septic) and backfilled all around the system and re-buried the spray heads, but not the lines. They informed me that this is not normally included and any further settlement of any part is my responsibility. The only complaint would be the HUGE pile of dirt(8' tall x 20' diameter) that was to be taken away and part of the original contract is still in my backyard. They talked me into leaving this huge pile to fill in as the system settles and also because they said I could probably use some for a patio I may add in the future. The pile is now hard as a rock and I can't hardly even dig a hole to move the dirt. It's a muddy mess for my dogs when it rains too. I have not needed to fill in any settling yet and will not need even 1/4 of the remaining dirt for my patio. I will now have to hire a contractor to remove the dirt. Overall, they were excellent and very easy to work with but don't let them talk you into keeping the dirt to fill in holes. It's an unGodly amount of dirt and mine is red clay and near impossible to move by hand

I have one toilet that let's me know when it's time to have the tank pumped out....slow to flush. I called AAA this am and they put me on the list for tomorrow. The toilet started leaking around the toilet and I cannot get it unclogged. I called AAA back and asked if they could make it a priority since the toilet is leaking. He said I was next & they would call me when they were on the way. Short there after the driver called and they arrived within 30 minutes. I provided the map we had drawn to locate the top. Pumped out went fine. Tank was not full. They cleaned up and were thorough. They even cleaned off the hose and walkway. Courteous and professional

He quoted me lower than the amount of work he actually performed which I really appreciated. He didn't change the price just because he did more work. I have already recommended him to two other people.

Came out and looked at issue. Made an accurate assessment of the issue and made it so that we would not have an issue with waste coming in the house. Had others come by and went with this company. They were on Angie's list, they were honest, price was fair, knocked the job out and did not lag around. Took time to explain things that were done and preventive maintenance for the future

Showed-up same day to diagnose pump problem. Came back the next day with the bigger truck to pump-out septic system and clear residue blocking proper pump operation. Whole process was done quickly and professionally. Team was friendly and clearly knowledgeable. Price probably reasonable, but I had no other estimates with which to compare

This is the third time we have used AAA for our septic needs, with the first two times to pump out our old system. Joshua was our contact person and he was always very courteous and professional and answered all of our questions. They were very quick and had the job completed within six hours, which made me happy since we have two small children I didn't want to be without bathroom facilities for very long. I would highly recommend AAA and Joshua's crew

When we moved to a new house, AAA gave the previous owner a quote for installation. When we moved in, we tried to contact AAA to install the system. We could not get them to answer our calls. When our realtor somehow got in touch with them they told us they'd come out soon (no specific date or time frame). We never heard back. We wasted weeks trying to contact them with no luck. We eventually realized they had no plans on ever doing anything for us and got another company to install the system. I don't know how this place stays in business but they are incredibly unprofessional

I have raw sewage running down my driveway. Contacted them to replace a broken septic tank line on 8/28/12. My call was returned the next day with a reasonable price quote. Work was to have started within the and quot;next couple of days.and quot; 10 days later, no response back and no attempts have been made to contact me or start the work. If he wasn't able to do the job, or didn't want the job, I wish that he would have said that from the start. I wound up using a different company that was on site within one hour of the call, at a much higher price

"I called Rebel this morning, and the by 1:30 they had come and gone. I work, so I needed a 30 minute lead call. The technician called at 12:00 and made it to my house just after I got there. He got the details of my issue, examined the facilities, made a recommendation, then performed the work quickly and professionally.

"The packing and moving took 3 days, compared to the two days quoted. They were not finished by the time of our buyers' final walk through of our house - the buyers could have withheld money at the closing, but were flexible and understanding and did not do so. The movers had a small van containing boxes and packing paper, as well as the moving van. On each of the 3 days, the small van would not start. And on the last of the three days, the cab for the moving van would not start. My husband had to go pick the guys up at their motel so that the work could continue (fortunately the trailer was still in front of our house) - but this created a delay of 4 hours, starting at noon versus 8 a.m. In the end, they were pressed for time and got sloppy - not labeling boxes at all or labeling them in misspelled Spanish. Lampshades were packed at the bottom of boxes, crushed by the weight of other items on top of them. One box full of spice jars had spillage of baking soda, olive oil and breadcrumbs on every single jar. It took my husband and I two hours just to unpack that one box. The "boss" at the Chicago end and at the Charleston end were both really good and conscientious, but their team, especially the Chicago team, we're not. They worked hard only when the boss was around. One of the bosses was great at taking furniture apart and then putting it back together again (mirrors on dressers, etc). Setting up the work and organizing over the phone was very professional, but I understand that the woman who worked with us has since quit the company.
"They did the work today, and I haven’t received the bill yet. They do residential and commercial plumbing as well as new construction plumbing. I enjoy working with them and would use them again in the future if necessary."

Septic tanks are a great way to treat wastewater in rural areas, but septic odor can be an unfortunate side effect of these systems. Learn more about the causes for the bad smell, including cracked pipes, dry drains, and other culprits.
Replacing a drain field requires digging up quite a bit of land and involves a decent amount of testing. Using this guide, you’ll learn how much it costs to replace a drain field based on a few key factors such as size and type of septic system.
Whether you’ve had a septic tank for years or it’s your first one, you need to know how to live with one. This guide covers septic tank maintenance for a long-lasting system.
Answer: There are several signs that indicate your septic tank could be full. These include standing water over your septic tank, a strong odor coming from your yard, gurgling water, slow drains, or a sewage backup. While many of these signs could also be indicative of a clogged system, they should all be checked out by a professional ASAP to avoid costly damages. In the absence of any of these signs, it’s recommended that septic tanks be emptied every 3 to 5 years on average.
How often should a septic tank be serviced?
Answer: On average, septic tanks should be serviced every 3 to 5 years in the absence of any worrying signs that the tank is clogged or full. The size of your septic tank, the number of people living in your home, and your average water usage will all impact how often your septic tank needs to be serviced.
What are the most common causes of septic tank failure?
Answer: The most common cause of septic tank failure is improper maintenance. Failing to pump a septic tank on the appropriate schedule will cause septic tank failure and likely result in a costly septic tank repair or replacement. On average, septic tanks should be pumped every 3 to 5 years, but the size of your tank, the number of people in your home, and your average water usage may shorten or extend this timeframe.
How much does it cost to pump a septic tank?
Answer: The cost to pump a septic tank is $400 on average or about $0.30 per gallon. The size of your septic tank, as well as local labor costs, will impact the cost of pumping your septic tank. Most septic tanks are between 600 and 2,000 gallons in size, meaning the average cost range is between $180 to $600.
How much does it cost to install a septic system?
Answer: The cost to install a septic tank system is between $3,060 and $9,810, on average. The size of the septic tank you choose, the land you’re installing it on, the type of system you choose, and local labor costs will all influence the total cost of installing a septic system. Anaerobic septic tanks (those that don’t need oxygen) typically cost between $3,000 and $8,000. Aerobic systems, which utilize oxygen to activate bacteria and are popular on smaller properties, usually cost between $10,000 and $20,000.
How long does a septic system last?
Answer: When septic systems are well maintained, they can last up to 30 years or more. If a septic system isn’t properly maintained, such as when it isn’t pumped regularly, it may malfunction and require costly repairs or a premature replacement. In general, septic tank pumping is recommended every 3 to 5 years to ensure the septic system lasts as long as possible.
