"Uur  home warranty service ,Homesure dispatched them.  They called ahead which I appreciated.  Two guys came and put in new disposal to replace 23 year old one that was leaking.  They also fixed a leaky faucet and a shut-off valve. Good service! We paid the $75 co-pay

You can put yogurt in your septic tank, but it will not increase the bacteria in your septic tank. In other words, it won't harm your tank, but it won't get rid of a septic smell or boost the performance of your septic system. While yogurt contains helpful bacteria, you would need to buy an extraordinary amount of yogurt to make any difference. Adding yogurt is not a helpful or cost-effective strategy.

You can cover a septic tank riser with dirt, but it’s not always the best idea. If you have a plastic riser and you bury it, you can easily lose track of it since you won’t be able to find it with a metal detector.
