The guys left mud everywhere. Were abrupt. The faucet leaked again the very next day. They destroyed my wall causing much more expense.

Had to locate the leak by searching the yard thru several inches of water.  After finding the leak, it was located an inch inside the slab line and they were able to chisel some of the slab in order to fix the leaking pipe.  It took several hours but I have had no problem since job was completed and this was about a year ago.

My wife and I purchased our new home the same day our baby was born (my wife was in labor while signing the papers).  The only thing that wasn't done when closed was the plumbing, which the seller agreed to pay for and it was included in the contract.  The seller had scheduled Skeen Plumbing to come out early the week after we closed on the house.  They had flushed all the pipes the previous week but some of the drains were still slow.  Unable to schedule them to come back before closing (my wife and I didn't want to delay with a baby on the way) we agreed to the terms mentioned above even though we would start out without water in the kitchen.
I called Skeen Plumbing on Monday to see when they would be coming in and they informed me that they wouldn't be able to make it that week, it would be late next week.  I explained that we had a contract saying they would be coming in sooner and that I had a new born to think about, they said they would try but not to hold out much hope.  I hung up and immediately called my Realtor Dixie Phelps (in case anyone is looking for a good Realtor in Jackson MS) she said to let her handle it.  Shortly thereafter Skeen called back and said they'd be out the next day.  So at this point I'm not a big fan of the company.
The plumbers that came out were very polite and professional.  Frank was especially helpful.  Every step of the way he explained what they were doing and why.  He made sure I understood what was going on and also pointed out potential future problems, since I had just bought the house.  For example he explained that the hot water heater is coming up on the end of it's normal life span, not that I needed a new one now, but to start saving because it will probably need to be replaced in the next couple of years or so.  All the plumbers went above and beyond for my family, even staying hours late Friday night to be sure we had water in the kitchen over the weekend so we could do dishes, even though they would have to take it apart Monday to continue working.
It took a little over a week and the guys were great to work with.  Just as a matter of full disclosure I have plumbers and repair men in my family so I know what a crap job it can be, so we tried to be sure to offer water and gatorade and we also cooked lunch a couple of days for the plumbers as a way of saying thanks for their hard work.  Whether or not this hospitality affected the quality of work I don't know, but they did go above and beyond for us.
When rates were talked about they did seem rather high, but I'm writing this review a couple of months after the fact and haven't had any problems, and sometimes quality is worth the higher price.
Would I use Skeen Plumbing again?  Frank gave me his card with his number, and I would definitely call him again.

It was a nightmare.  We obviously had a leak, yet Skeen Plumbing could never seem to find it.  They should have had someone scope our drains the first time they came out.  They should have found the leak and fixed the problem immediately, but instead it took several attempts to get them to find and fix the blasted thing.  They told us that a new tub would only cost about $100 dollars and that the price to fix the leak and replace the tub would be $1,000 to $1,500.  They charged us almost $2,000 -- which includes $600 to remove the tub and tile and $685 to install the tub but not fix the tile.  We still don't know how much the total price will be since we still have to purchase tile and hire someone to install it.  I understand that plumbers are only human, but I believe that they could have done a much better job to find the leak and fix the problem.  They basically came out once to just look around a little, then came out the next time to really look for the leak, then came out two more times to finally fix the problem.  It seemed really silly and incredibly annoying to keep having to call them to find a leak that they agreed we had.
I do not blame them for not being able to fix the tile themselves, but they should have someone they can call to come out and replace tile when they take it out.  That would have sped up the process and provide much better customer service.  It really upset me to have them tear out almost -- but not all -- the tile, then leave it to us to get someone to remove the rest of the tile and replace it.  They essentially left the bathroom in a mess, which added insult to injury considering how long it took them to find and fix the leak in the first place.

Everything was fine with the job they did, thought we broke our garbage disposal but it was just clogged, took him 10-15 minutes total for diagnosis and to use the plunger and unclog it, another ten to write up the $185 bill.  Never gave any price estimate ahead of time like their website says they do.  Will not use again.

The replacement went great - they are tidy, courteous, on time and use great products.  They had to move the washing machine to get to one of the water heaters, and unfortunately they forgot to hook the washing machine back up properly when they put it back in place. The drain line was not attached correctly and when I started a load of clothes that evening, water went everywhere on my laundry room floor.  It was after business hours and the Friday before Memorial Day weekend, but when I called, the answering service got a message to them right away and they came back out and fixed and cleaned up everything that same night.

They have done excellent work for us and have fixed several plumbing leaks.  I have confidence in their opinions.   I think their prices are high.  We paid $200 (1 hour charge) for work that took about 15 minutes.  In my experience most minimum service calls are in the neighborhood of $75.  They do good work and are pleasant to work with.

They came rather quickly and found the problem pretty quickly. They said they were solidly booked but then was able to fit me in that day.  The prices were expensive but fair.  They were very professional, clean, and what the costs were before they did it.

We thought they were a little high on pricing. They did the job when we first moved in and the people who were selling paid them. We didn’t pay anything out of pocket but after they left we felt they were ridiculous. We haven’t used them since and currently we are using someone else and are very happy with them.

We were very, very pleased with their work. We called on a Sunday and they came out and looked at it. They came back on Tuesday to do the job. They had to dig up some of our plants and stuff but they put everything back. The job was neat and they put everything back like it was. They were neat, clean and respectful. We thought the price was reasonable because we thought it would be several thousand dollars and we didn't know what anybody else would charge.
