"Gil from NE carpentry did a lot of work for me. The most impressive was that Gil worked with me to repair my interior front porch after a massive leak during a storm destroyed it. Because my house is on the beach and very exposed, every other contractor declined the job. Gil and his team were very rigorous and patient and they did succeed in waterproofing the porch. They did rebuild it and did fantastic work. The team communicates well, is always on time, does a great job and always clean after the workday. Their prices are very fair and transparent. I will continue to work with NE carpentry and I highly recommend them."

"I needed my entryway stairs and porches replaced due to age. I found MMP Construction here on Angie’s list, and contacted them through the website. Matt, the owner, called me back the next day and we arranged a time for him to come and give me an estimate. He showed up exactly when he said he would, and emailed me the estimate the next day. When I hired him, he told me upfront that it would be a while before he could start due to an ongoing project he was working on. I appreciated that. When the time came for him to start, there were some delays, mainly weather related, and he was very conscientious about calling me and letting me know what was going on and when to expect them. Although the project took longer than I expected to be finished, I am very happy with the finished product. Matt is excellent at communication. He took care of all permits, and arranged all inspections. His crew was always on time. They did an excellent job cleaning up after they were done, and the finished project was fantastic. I would definitely recommend MMP Construction, and would not hesitate to use them again in the future."

So I was pleased with how smoothly this project went from start to finish. A formal written quote was provided via email which I accepted and he scheduled the work for the following week. "Absolutely AMAZING job! We have been searching for a general contractor for almost 6 months to take care of several projects on the exterior of our home. We had worked with Stellar Painting before when our insurance company paid for a door and window repair. After a phenomenal job and a great experience, I called them again to see if, by some miracle, they could handle a list of repairs for the exterior of our home. After coming out, giving an estimate, and providing a start time - I couldn't believe how quickly everything was done! They fixed everything (and that was one heck of a list)! Our deck is so beautiful, I can't stop staring at it. Light poles that a previous masonry company installed are standing tall and proud (versus lump-sided like they have been for years now!) We were looking for someone to help with knocking down walls, gut renovating a kitchen and two bathrooms, as well as doing flooring and some work in bedrooms. This review pertains to the quote process. Eric Dutra was very responsive and professional throughout the process, offering insight and past experience as part of the quote. Furthermore, he gave a very detailed and transparent breakdown of the pricing on a line item basis. The pricing seemed very fair and jived with other quotes. we received. "Pedro and his team were excellent. They were professional and timely, hard-working and meticulous, and trustworthy. Best of all (at least for me), is that Pedro is VERY responsive and his team is assigned to get your job done and done correctly. They show up on time every day, and were willing to work late into the evening to hit the project milestones. Pedro was 100% clear about the costs, and he made sure I fully understood the areas where the costs were not known or where the costs could possibly change. For example, he said, "If you open up this wall, I'm not sure what we are going to find." I told him to proceed and his team opened up that wall and found that the previous contractor had installed literally zero insulation. Pedro met with me, reviewed what his team had found, went over all of our options, gave me his recommendation, and only proceeded when I completely approved the additional work that would be done and the additional cost entailed. Pedro is a true partner and his team does great work. I cannot recommend them enough. My wife and I have already booked them for another job renovating a first floor porch and creating a roof over the open-air second floor porch."

"I hired Cowboy contractor to replace our existing entry with porcelain wood plank tile. The contractor came in and removed the hardwood floor and prep it to lay the tile. He also cut down the entry door trim and reinstalled it. Excellent work done by this contractor and I would recommend him. I definitely would use this contractor again to do work at my home."
