Absolutely spectacular craftsmanship; easy and pleasant exchange during the performance of the jobs (they have done three major jobs in our house and and we keep calling on them). Jobs were completed on time. The product was much better than ever imagined. Absolutely trustworthy.

Gil was terrific. Was on time for appt, pointed out some other problems due to no flashing when deck installed, and sent quote for replacement of door and frame, installing flashing, and bracing support beam. Work was done in a timely manner and everyone was very professional and efficient.

They built a new roof deck after a roof repair required replacement of the old deck. The new deck is fantastic and they did a great job!

Gil was in constant contact with us. We had many extra steps added to our project due to the age of the house, getting it up to code. The workers were courteous, professional and worked hard to complete the job in a reasonable timeframe. We are thrilled with how it came out, and will use New England Carpentry for future projects.

Gil from NE carpentry did a lot of work for me. The most impressive was that Gil worked with me to repair my interior front porch after a massive leak during a storm destroyed it. Because my house is on the beach and very exposed, every other contractor declined the job. Gil and his team were very rigorous and patient and they did succeed in waterproofing the porch. They did rebuild it and did fantastic work. The team communicates well, is always on time, does a great job and always clean after the workday. Their prices are very fair and transparent. I will continue to work with NE carpentry and I highly recommend them.

Gil was professional, on time, and communicative to make sure the work will result the outcome I expect. He was very efficient and finished the job in less than 8-9 hours. He made sure I inspected all the work to my satisfaction.

This project took a few twists and Gil stayed with us through it all. What started out as a simple idea became much more involved when we discovered our roof had to be re-framed to shore it up before we could vault the ceilings. He even helped line up an engineer who did quick work in drawing up revised plans at a reasonable cost. Gil's team and his subcontractors were hardworking, pleasant to work with, and did quality work. Texting and talking by phone proved to be a better way to stay in touch with Gil than detailed e-mails. We're very happy with the finished product, and would definitely hire them again.

Cannot say enough good things about Gill and his crew. We had a few windows with severe rot around the trim and sill. Gill removed all rotted wood, insulated and replaced it with PVC to prevent future rot then painted. It looks so much better and has solved an issue with water seepage from rain/melting. Gill was prompt to provide a quote and was able to get us on the schedule with a matter of days from accepting the proposal. The work was done with care and to a high standard. We will most definitely be using Gill again for future projects.

They were fantastic.

Everything went great. Gil was very responsive and did a great job coordinating with everyone (electrician, plumber, etc.) that was needed for the job. He was easy to reach by phone or text to easily get status updates. They not only did great work but helped tie up all the loose ends making sure things are cleaned up.

Gil and his crew were very polite, on time and professional. Cabinet assembly and installation, door build out, baseboards and fixing a job that the old carpenter completely messed up. 100% approval rating in all aspects from me.

During the rebuilding stage Gil offered insight on how to maximize any space to be utilized, while combining form and function. We could not be happier with the work Gil and his team performed. The porches look amazing. We originally were just going to have the porch repairs done but were so happy with the work done we added on the lattice They were prompt and professional. The price was exactly what was agreed upon and the work was completed on schedule. We will have Gil back in the spring for some additional work. Highly recommend New England Carpentry LLC. Gil and his team did a number of jobs for us including taking down a wall to open up our kitchen and dining room, repairing some cabinets, hanging a door, installing a tile backsplash above our sink, and installing new floors. All of the work was done with care and attention to detail and at a reasonable price. Gil is consistently professional and courteous. We will certainly be hiring New England Carpentry in the future!
