"This is the 4th time I have hired SILMAC for a project, and this was the largest job by far - a full gut renovation of my kitchen, adding a powder room, and putting on an addition with a laundry/mudroom. I’m so pleased with how everything turned out - it is truly the space I had dreamed about when I bought the house! Joe and his crew are extremely reliable and responsive. It’s inevitable that bumps in the road will arise during a large renovation like this, especially in an old house, but Joe was proactive in addressing them and always kept me informed. His level of service truly stands out! It doesn’t surprise me that he has over 200 reviews and nearly a 5 star rating - he is that good! You will not be disappointed hiring SILMAC for your next project."

"Bob is very detail oriented and worked hard. He works by the hour so it is important to me that he worked dilligently and smartly so that i was not wasting my money. he knew what he was doing with carpentry and did a thorough job. he had to match the flooring in a section and install it so that it fit visually with little to no seam which he did a great job on. For the cabinetry work he had good ideas on how to proceed and gave us several options. he is very experienced so he is perfect for problem solving a complex fix or project."

"Contacted Dave to talk about work needed; Dave was punctual, professional and very reasonable. Day of the work, he and his sons arrived on time and completed the work and left the area neat and clean, ready for the next crew to begin.

"Basement project: We met with Eric and he was our point person for the whole project. He and his team couldn't have been better. We were ripped off by another contractor a few years prior to this so to say we were gun shy was an understatement. Eric definitely made us feel comfortable with the whole process. The 2 guys who came in to do the carpentry did an excellent job, always included us on decisions, cleaned up after themselves, and were very personable. The quality of work was better than we could have ever imagined and the space looks awesome. They had to do some demo and redid a wall, added shelves and laid a floor. They stayed on track and on schedule and we felt the price quoted was fair and worth every penny.

The second project was exterior about a year later. We needed so panels replaced and repainted. Once again, on time and cleaned up after themselves.

Its hard to find a contractor to begin with and one that is honest and takes pride and cares about their work is a gem. We'll definitely use them again.

"The most important part of a remodeling project is your contractor. It is the contractor that determines how smoothly the project goes and how pleased you will be when it is finished. Liam Neary is the contractor I would want to work with again. We actually enjoyed the remodeling process because of Liam. Liam was very attentive to all our concerns throughout the project. All work performed by Liam himself was exceptional. He is neat, prompt, and organized with a-plus communication. Liam is honest, congenial and eager to please. Subcontractor work occasionally did not rise up to Liam's standards. Whenever we pointed these minor details out, Liam always rectified the issues. We love our new kitchen!"

"Pedro renovated about 80% of our 1890s 5-bedroom Victorian home. The work was uniformly excellent and completed on schedule, despite the interruptions caused by the early phases of the pandemic. Pedro is an absolute pleasure to work with, and he maintained excellent relationships with us, the architect, and his subcontractors. His estimate was reasonable as were the change orders. We were lucky to find him!"

"Love the new bar shelf and wine rack that Larry built for us! He kept us up to date on the proposed design, incorporated feedback, and kept us informed along the way. Process went smoothly and we’re very happy with the final result!"

"Bruno did an excellent job by using high quality material and is highly skilled on the job. He has amazing warm energy and attitude. Most amazing aspect is he treated the work and apartment as his own, always thinking and doing work beyond what we are thinking or asking. The best customer service contractor I have ever met. Definitely will hire him for future new work."

"We hired A-Z for an extensive remodeling job that included complete remodels of three bathrooms, two bedrooms, and a laundry room, as well as new construction of a room in our finished basement. I donâ t even know where to begin to describe how great Charles and his crew were! He was communicative throughout the process and kept us updated on the progress and timeline. I was very pleased that he prioritized our needs while never compromising workmanship. The project is now completed, and what has resulted is a masterful remodel with which I could not be more pleased. I highly recommend Charles and A-Z Finish Carpentry for anyone who wants quality work from a quality company."
