"Gil from NE carpentry did a lot of work for me. The most impressive was that Gil worked with me to repair my interior front porch after a massive leak during a storm destroyed it. Because my house is on the beach and very exposed, every other contractor declined the job. Gil and his team were very rigorous and patient and they did succeed in waterproofing the porch. They did rebuild it and did fantastic work. The team communicates well, is always on time, does a great job and always clean after the workday. Their prices are very fair and transparent. I will continue to work with NE carpentry and I highly recommend them."

"Very well.  I acted as general contractor after my builder disappeared in the middle of the job.  I had some good contractors and some not so good ones.  HS Plastering and Painting was at the top of the good list.  The quality of their work was very good; no complaints there at all.  But what stood out was the experience of working with them.  They came when asked, did what they were asked to do, acted in a professional manner, stood by their work, and were a true pleasure to have as a contractor.  They were quick, worked weekends to get the job done, and didn't cut corners.

He showed up on time, suggested a remedy and gave me an estimate. After buying the house I had him complete the work. It was done as promised in a very tight and dirty attic space, they cleaned up before leaving. I also chose Matt to replace my roof after getting three estimates. The crew did the complete job, chimney flashing, ice and water shield, small roof repair and venting channels in the attic. Clean up was great, no mess left in the yard. He was not the lowest estimate but all the work was done without any additional charges. I was very pleased with the results."

"Absolutely AMAZING job! We have been searching for a general contractor for almost 6 months to take care of several projects on the exterior of our home. We had worked with Stellar Painting before when our insurance company paid for a door and window repair. After a phenomenal job and a great experience, I called them again to see if, by some miracle, they could handle a list of repairs for the exterior of our home. After coming out, giving an estimate, and providing a start time - I couldn't believe how quickly everything was done! They fixed everything (and that was one heck of a list)! "We sent Rob the plans in advance, and he visited the home to complete a walkthrough. He had not reviewed the plans prior to his visit, nor did he have a copy of them with him. He told us we needed to rip open every outside wall in every room that was being worked on in order to replace the insulation, which was not part of the plans and would have added tremendous cost to the project. When I told him we wanted to limit costs where we could, he told me that wasn't possible in a project of this size. He estimated that the cost would be 50% more than other bids we have received so far, and pushed us to try to get the names of other contractors bidding on the project. He said he'd need to complete at least 2-3 more walkthroughs with sub-contractors, and couldn't even give us an estimate on when he might have time to work on the bid ("when I get through the stack of papers on my desk and schedule my knee surgery"). After the visit, we asked him not to bid on the project."
