We were in a bind with an unfinished project and no contractor to fix it. Joe stepped in and gave us a reasonable quote and timeline to start the work. The project went very quickly and Joe was very clean, especially working in our kitchen. He was very responsive and lovely to work with and would hire again if (when) we need any additional work.

This was our second project working with HomePro Services. The previous project - converting our unfinished basement into a home gym worked out so great, we contacted Joe to hire him for remodeling our kitchen, which was somewhat dark, and somewhat tired.

This is the second bathroom remodel Joe has done for us. This project also included tiling a long back hall, wrapping exterior pillars, and changing out the door knobs and hinges in our home. Joe is meticulous! The first contractor we have ever used who is fussier than we are, and that is saying a lot! Joe takes great pride in his work and makes sure we are 100% pleased with every detail. Joe has remodeled two bathrooms, my kitchen, replaced several windows, and replaced lots of internal as well as exterior doors. The work is exceptional. I would trust him to do anything. Joe is professional and also a pleasure to have in the house.

We had a fantastic experience with this company. Joe (the owner) was responsive, constructive, easy to work with, and reliable, and he did very high quality work. We had a quite extensive basement finishing project (finishing about 50% of a previously unfinished basement) that involved planning the use of the space, adjusting the plumbing organization to accommodate the bathroom we wanted to put in, installing electrical circuitry, installing the bathroom, rebuilding the stairs, installing a substantial network of soffits to enclose ducts and plumbing, and of course installing all the drywall, flooring, finishing etc needed to complete the space. Throughout the project Joe stayed in touch with us about plans and choices, and was flexible about accommodating our preferences while also giving us sage advice based on his (extensive) experience. He started on time and completed the work in line with the expected schedule. Joe did much of the work himself but he also brought in other specialists as needed, on schedule and with minimum fuss (plumber, electrical, etc), and he handled interactions with the town inspectors effectively too. He even helped us with some issues elsewhere in the house that came up while he was working on the basement, and came back to help us install some decorative items that we ordered but did not arrive before he officially finished. We are extremely happy with the end result and use the space almost every day. Anyone who sees the space is also very impressed. It's a wonderful addition to our home and exactly what we hoped for.

Joe (owner of Home Pro Services) was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire project. He is an excellent communicator in person and over email, which made everything easier, and was a great help in navigating the myriad of decisions that needed to be made. Joe does much of the work himself, which gave us additional confidence that the person on the job had the big picture and our needs in mind. And, we're thrilled with the final result. I can't praise HomePro Services highly enough. To begin with, they are extremely consultative up-front, totally willing to engage deeply in discussions about anything from the overall concept of the renovation to the details. They're also proactive in making suggestions and warning against potentially bad ideas. Once we committed to the renovation, they kept us posted on the timing of the start and started only one day later than they had predicted months previously. The team itself is friendly and fun to have around the house, and respectful of people living and working inside while the renovation was underway. The work quality was extremely high, as good as anything we've seen -- and we once hired a renowned, high-end contractor to do a major renovation, so our standards are high. They finished on time and we are loving our new space. Can't wait to work with them again on another project.

Outstanding work from start to finish, Jonathan and Joe were tremendous. The shower project went extremely smoothly starting with a thorough discussion of our needs including design, materials selections, and followed by a professional and complete proposal. This project was the least disruptive of any remodel we've done in our homes, and the result is an outstanding installation that was done on-time and on-budget. Great communication and a pleasure to have them in our home for this work.

We are so thrilled that we chose Joe and Jonathan from Home Pro Services for such a major home construction project! We had TWO bathrooms that were circa 1980s in our home and BOTH needed a gutting renovation. We had solicited several quotes, but Joe and Jonathan of Home Pro Services came as a personal recommendation from a friend, and we had already seen the beautiful work they had done. Home Pro's prices seemed lower/in line with market prices. We needed gutting of the existing spaces, some revision of electrical and plumbing, installation of walls, ceiling, floors, fans, tile work, fixtures. Joe made himself incredibly available. He is pleasant to work with. He is very responsive! He is highly attentive to details. He dispelled all of our myths of "the absent contractor". Instead, he updated us regularly with progress, by email and text, and we saw him nearly daily. Through these communications he helped us make intelligent decisions about the project. We appreciated his knowledge and level of care. He often had more than one solution or suggestions for a single problem, and let us talk things over with him before making a decision. As expected there were some unforeseen construction issues having to do with water damage etc. we faced along the way, but Joe helped us address these in a fair and equitable way. We also appreciated, given the timing of our project which was during the COVID outbreak, that he did not bring large teams of people into our home. The plumbers, electricians and painters he referred for our project were also highly qualified and respectful. The quality of Home Pro services by far exceeded our expectations! As my husband said early on, "Joe is an artisan". There was nothing we would change about our project. We can't wait to hire Joe and Home Pro Services again!

Listening/Planning: Joe took time to hear our specific needs- including design simplicity , a similar size and footprint as the original porch and with more shallow risers and wider treads. We wanted to add only one railing. Our goal was to make it easier for aging folks, like us, to access the front entrance. ( And for large deliveries to be made.) He provided us with pictures of porches meeting our criteria. He discussed building materials. Some of which he recommended from his experience and some we had encountered from friends and relatives. In the written estimate Joe included details of everything we requested , his plan for disposal and cleanup , and mentioned the unknown charges (TBD) like the window pane and sill repair. As retirees in no hurry, we were able to watch Joe work. We both admired his work ethic. Dan ( a former engineer, wood canvas canoe builder, and our own home handyman) especially admired Joe's carpentry and careful calculations. He was neat, organized and clearly takes pride in his work. (Justifiably so.) It wasn't until he brought out his small cement mixer that I realized how many talents were required by this dedicated worker Joe found the sill entirely full of critter holes! He first supported the basement ceiling with his handy device and cleaned out the damaged area, (We could now see the front yard from the basement!) Once finished, the house was well- supported and the mess cleaned up.

This deck/porch rebuild is the fourth project I’ve done with Home Pro Services, and I will give them first refusal on any future renovation/construction projects. Apart from the consistently high quality of the work, I appreciate and value the following: Trustworthiness - I have no hesitation having Home Pro working in and around my home while I’m away from the property. Everything is secure when I return. Focus - Home Pro is a small company which doesn’t take on large numbers of jobs simultaneously. A client has their full attention for the duration of the project. Environment - Work areas are kept clean and organized. Collaboration - They work with me to achieve the results I want. Forthrightness about costs/alterations to plans - Any recommended changes to original plans are discussed in advance as are the costs for changes/extras; alternative approaches/costs are discussed. Follow-through - Home Pro will come back to address questions/concerns. In my first project, I had concerns about custom-ordered windows; they returned with the manufacturer to discuss the issue. In addition to the qualities noted above, I enjoy working with both Joe and Jonathan. It’s a pleasure when a contractor offers both professionalism and a cordial working relationship.

It very went well. Jonathan and Joe did a wonderful job in helping us remodel the master bathroom and the guest bathroom. They demonstrated exceptional professionalism and craftsmanship in renovating the shower, bathtub, vanity and replacing tiles on the floor. They were considerate and accommodative. We would hire them for any renovation project in the future. I strongly recommend them.

Joe and Jonathan are amazing. Joe was quick to provide us with an estimate, they were easy to schedule us, and they kept us up to date with all of the progress and checked in about anything that came up. Joe was very conscious of the cost of the things that were being changed and added, and made sure we knew what we were getting ourselves into. The upstairs bathroom looks refreshed, and the basement bathroom is unrecognizable; it is a functional space that is clean and inviting. We trusted their work so much that we have had them back to do additional work around the house. We've been very pleased with their ability to execute on such varied projects, including repairing rot, changing out the tile in our front entrance, and replacing our bulkhead door.

Jonathan and Joe were the best team of contractors we have ever worked with. Throughout the project we felt like they were performing the level of work that they would have done at their own homes. The project was not inexpensive. We probably could have paid less to someone else, but then we would have missed out on this top-notch remodel. No level of detail was overlooked. The only downside is that our bathroom is now the best room in our house. That means more upgrades needed!

We needed to finish our basement space before the arrival of our daughter in January. HomePro Services (Jonathan and Joe) went out of their way to fit work on our basement into our tight timeline. The space is beautiful and impeccably done. In working quickly and sporadically (as our needs required) they didn't sacrifice any quality. They paid attention to every detail. We had some issues arise with ceiling height and heating. Jonathan and Joe worked with us to find the best solution within our budget. We trust them to make quality decisions on a budget. In addition to working diligently, Jonathan and Joe took the time to know our dogs' names and say hi to us in a friendly way each day. That meant a lot too. I would highly recommend HomePro Services. Their rates are competitive. But any price difference is compensated by the quality of their service.

Jonathan and Joe did a fantastic job taking our unfinished basement and turning it into a fully functional family area. They were very communicative and offered several great ideas to utilize all aspects of the basement space. We went from a completely unfinished basement to a family room, bar area with sink, and a utility room. Initially, the email response to our inquiry was quick. Once I sent pictures, he sent us an email estimate with a plan to look at the job if we were interested. The in person appointment was on time and the detailed quote followed about a week later with one follow up email to request it. The job was able to be scheduled quickly and was a much better price than a couple of other estimates. It started a couple days later than targeted due to weather, which was communicated and not a problem. They worked on the job daily for 7 days except one day that was pouring rain. The final product looks great. The new stairs make the front of the house look so much better and the workmanship is excellent. We barely saw them because we were usually at work while they were here, but they were nice and professional when we communicated. They also put up a rain diverter on the roof as a last minute request. The only thing we werent thrilled with is the amount of cement debris left in our landscaping. Overall they cleaned up well, so I dont know if this is even avoidable, but it's kind of a mess around our bushes and they just threw some mulch over the cement to cover it. We just noticed this today when my husband started mulching the rest of the area, so we didnt mention it. A minor annoyance in the scheme of things. I'd definitely use them again.
