Communication was excellent with the arborist who did the estimate as well as the crew upon arrival, during the job, and at completion. "Beautifully. We choose them in 2014 because they were available after a major storm. In 2014, they repaired major damage to several trees and gave us excellent advice about trees on our property. These people are arborists, not merely tree cutters. In 2016, they moved a 10-ft section of decorative block wall away from a large tree. The results were stunning: you would think that the wall had originally been laid in its current location.. In neither case did we get other bids, but I suspect this firm is a bit pricier than many others. Still, I would ask them for a proposal, for you will get a free education that is worth your time."

"I've been using JL for 15 years and have had them do multiple tree removals, prunings of the trees overhanging the house and a couple of stump grindings. Steven (the arborist that covers my area) always does a walk through the property and I'm usually the one who wants more work done than he thinks is required so they definitely don't try to get you to do unnecessary work.
