Tree Removal
John and his crew were professional, prompt and super easy to work with. Not only was it clear that they cared deeply about their work but they also were obviously highly skilled. They removed a GIANT silver maple that was too close to our home as well as a good sized sweet gum tree. Could not be more satisfied and would not bother looking elsewhere for future projects.

I recently bought a house in Old Town and a large part of my neighbor's tree was hanging over my roof and back patio area. John and his team came in and did a great job of trimming, removing large branches, and cleaning up. They were efficient and I was extremely pleased with their work.

Had to use a climber and cut the wood into 16" segments for firewood. Had 4 men on the job. Was in an out in a few hours. VERY professional. Great work from the team. Did exactly what was expected.

It was great! The crew arrived with John and another foreman right on time. They made quick work of this very large tree and were extremely respectful of our property and the structures near the tree. They even saved a little squirrel that had lived in the tree... not exactly actually their job, but a nice bonus for the squirrel. The price was on the lower end of the true professional tree companies and the service was top notch. Will definitely be calling again, and soon!

I scheduled John's team to remove 5 overgrown holly trees (like two-story tall ones) and an overgrown bush. John worked to fit it in my family's fluctuating schedule. They were quick with the job, worked around a couple unexpected issues without incident, and cleaned things up nicely when done. I'm happier with how my yard looks and would hire them again.

I had the great pleasure of hiring HES Company for the second year in a row to trim my holly trees. John's crew does excellent work, and are truly knowledgeable about trees. In my opinion, what distinguishes them as professionals is their attention to detail and clean up work. I am quite sure that every leaf and branch that was clipped from my trees was removed from my property; and, as a result, my 1/4 acre slice of heaven looks better than ever! I intend to have HES Company maintain my trees every year to keep them healthy and looking good.

You can tell the character of a person when they spend time with you explaining the nature of their work, take time to listen to your vision and needs and most especially are willing to work within your budget. John, the owner of the company is an individual who takes pride in his work, has mastered the trade he loves and his employes have worked for him for over 2 decades. That means he takes care of his workers, he's not looking to make a ton of money to sacrifice the quality of what he does. Honestly, I was amazed at his workers especially those who effortless climb up monster size trees with a 50 pound chain saw attached to their belt. I strongly recommended HES tree service, professional, fast, affordable and efficient.

Excellent work. John the boss was thorough as was his team. It was a very narrow area to reach the gigantic dead oak tree and another smaller one. Other quotes I got were ridiculous because of the access. John Queirolo was enthusiastic and very professional! We got wood chips for garden and logs for the fireplace. Many thanks!!

Went great. Other bidders were higher because based on bringing in a bucket truck, but Hes used climbers and ropes and chipper. On-time, nice crew, amazing job, amazing to watch, and left the place spanking clean. Heartily recommend them. The owner, John, couldn't be nicer. I threw in a tip on top of the payment owed. Very grateful.

John responded to my request for a quote for tree removal in a coupe of days, and he honored the coupon on Angie's List site. Since I also had another tree for trimming, that cost was added to the overall price, but still the final amount was great compared to 5 or 6 companies I received a quote from. The crew showed on time and finished the job promptly, the stump was grinded the same day, and the debris were removed. The guys were great to work with, and I would highly recommend the company.

Fantastic service. John was super responsive throughout the entire process. His company removed a cedar tree (un-healthy as well) that was hindering us from installing a screened in porch. He even was willing to accommodate our updated timeline due to screened in porch installation beginning sooner than expected. Would 100% hire again.

I can't say enough good things about the way my tree job was handled. John was able to arrange for a crew to come out the next day to remove a large tree that had fallen onto my fence and the neighbor's shed. The crew, headed by Santos, was extremely prompt and professional. I couldn't believe how efficient they were. Everything was completed and cleaned up as if it had never happened. HES will definitely be the company I go to for any tree problems I have in the future.

The team from Hes came back out very soon after I accepted the proposal, and went above and beyond on the work they performed. John was our estimator and awesome at his job. He gave us a reasonable price for removal of 1 large dead tree in our backyard. He kept us informed throughout the scheduling process determining when they could proceed. When the crew came Santos and the rest of the crew working diligently to safely remove our large tree and to chop up the pieces for us to utilize later for firewood. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a reasonably priced and very good tree removal service.

Awesome! John did a site visit, gave me a quote, and general tips on how to care for my trees. His crew came on time and did all the work and cleaned up afterwards. The work involved climbing a large maple tree near our house, so lot of ways this can go wrong. John and his crew are true professionals.
