I obtained several proposals and while most of them were within a few percentage points of each other in terms of cost, I chose Efficient Home Solutions. There were several reasons. First, David took the time to show me the math about my CFM airflow problem. I have been short about 800 CFM all these years and it's probably why my other unit wore out after 12 years. I got a 5 ton Lennox unit and David explained the differences between it and a comparable Trane (which I had previously installed). I think having a local company with access to parts in the future was a great reason to pick Lennox. The unit is a beast. Secondly, David brought his installation manager who carefully inspected my attic space and location of new return ducts. No one else brought theirs. This made a big difference because there would be no question as to what would work space-wise or not. Third, David also answered all my questions professionally and even explained many details I hadn't thought of (nor did any other service provider). I really like my Nest control and this unit cools within 40 seconds, and after 2 minutes, it's freezing! The family room is facing the hot west sun and now we can't even tell it's hot outside. I highly recommend them!"

"My 1950, 860 ft house had 20+ yr old dusty, pink insulation, that was even worse after the city revamped utility vaults & pushed rats into the neighborhood. I chose S.R Insulation to vacuum out, caulk open voids, and re-blow insulation. The owner set up an appointment quickly. On the day of service, he did call 15 minutes late to advise of an issue. The 3 person team arrived within an hour, set up the vacuum and bags, then removed insulation; original, wood-shingle slips; and ducting left by A/C techs. They worked between 3 to 4 hours and said they would return next business day. The two part installation, gave me an idea - I asked for an extension, so I could repair ceiling sheet rock while the attic was void. The owner agreed. He did not require partial payment. Three weeks later, I rescheduled. The install was even quicker, filling up to the stud height in white, blown insulation. He leaves behind a cardboard measuring stick to show you. The difference inside the house was immediate. I will not provide calculations, as I added front load washer/dryer to the electric usage at this same time. Later, I found my stove top vent fan blocked. I was able to pull out material from the duct, and the fan worked. Therefore I did not call the owner about this. I paid less than $1500, and thought it fair. I would use S.R. Insulation again and recommend them."

"They were very professional when they arrived. There was a person specifically available to ensure we understood what to expect as well as the two man crew that completed the installation.
The service was faster than I thought it would be, as we were told to expect 8 hours. We later discovered that the tech responsible for the external installation tried to take a shortcut with the wiring, leaving some exposed. When we noticed it, we called the company and let them know. The lead technician returned to the house the next day (a Saturday) and corrected the issue, adding additional insulation to keep the dogs from having any access to the various elements (his choice, knowing that dogs tend to bite the wires). 
Overall, we would hire them again and we would recommend them, however, we suggest checking the work and asking the questions before they leave. It will save both parties time later.

"Used them for 2 bathroom remodels in a rental property. Pros: Crew is courteous, friendly, and shows up on time ready to work. Job was completed on schedule or ahead of schedule. Crew cleans up area well EVERY day. Very good tile work. Price was fair. Not the cheapest. Not the most expensive. I got 5 bids. I was allowed some flexibility on the contract, which, if I hadn't had that, I wouldn't have hired them. They addressed any concerns I had as we went along. Good communication. I felt really good about them when I hired them after meeting Stacy Calahan who came to give me the bid. He is very realistic and accommodating. Reliability, skill, and honesty carry a lot of weight with me and these guys get an A in those areas. Cons: Wall texturing is not their strong suit. It was way too heavy and uneven. I don't recommend them for this. We had a mild conflict regarding a new spot on the carpet in the work area which I am certain was from their crew. I let it go because I figured I'd be replacing the carpet in another year or so and the fight wasn't worth it to me. Had that not been the case it would have gone differently. If you have a particular look you want for something, be sure you are clear and provide photos if possible. Otherwise you risk confusion - even if you've discussed it thoroughly."

"I cannot complain about anything. They were prompt with my response to schedule the appointment, and arrived exactly as scheduled. Replacing the new entry door and screen door was challenging and took longer than expected. However, they didn't charge me extra for the extended time it took. Because it started to get dark, they came back the next day to finish. In addition, they even worked through the rain which made matters even more difficult. After everything leveled out, they did an excellent job. I do appreciate their recommendation and installation of exterior rot-resistant trim. I could not have asked for better service, patience, and determination. I would absolutely request their services again."
