We bought 3 AC/Heating units for our four-thousand square foot home in November of 2022. The owner—David—provided us with (1) the best personal feeling of expertise among five companies that I contacted and had come out and look, and (2) he provide us with a great rate on all three units—it was not the cheapest bid, but also not the most expensive—it was right in the middle of five separate bids we were provided. I do my homework, I ask numerous in-depth questions, and had David walk through our home more than twice. He answered every question, provided an expert analysis. I highly recommend Efficient Home Solutions (EMS). We have now been in our home with the three new units for 17 months and we have had “no” issues with any unit. We have perfect AC/Heat in all three zones of our home. We have bi-annual visits from EHS to check the systems and change the filters. In addition, they look nice on the outside of the home, and you can tell they were installed by a professional. David and his team are a joy to work with, and “Efficient” is a great name for their company.

David was friendly and gave a fair quote discussing challenges and solutions for our home and insulation job. He clearly discussed different options for insulating our home and prices for removal of the old batting and of old insulation and blowing in the new insulation. The work was scheduled efficiently and within our time frame. The insulation team that he used were prompt, polite, respectful of our home and easy to work with. They did the job in a tidy and efficient way. The whole process was relatively painless given the magnitude of the job. David and his office communicated well before and after the job. We are very pleased with the job completed by Efficient Home Solutions and would highly recommend them.

The replacement quote was clearly explained. I got an installation date pretty quickly and within a few days. Installation crew showed up on time. Removed the old equipment, installed the new equipment, and cleaned up the work areas.

Great. Same day service. Technician came out late and fixed an airflow situation that prevented the pilot from lighting the gas. Service call fee, only. Was billed more than a month later.

The technician did a good job of diagnosing the problem quickly and providing an estimate. He identified the cause of main complaint (loud buzzing caused by failing fan motor bearings) and also noted that the compressor seemed to be laboring. Scheduling was easy because we were able to make an appointment same-day on the first call we made. Other companies had to call us back, which worked well enough. We ended up replacing the AC with another company due to its age.

The quote process went smoothly. Dylan showed up on time on a Friday evening and started by asking about comfort issues in the house. He made some recommendations on duct modifications to resolve the comfort issues we have noticed in our home. I was highly confident in his knowledge and ability to solve our problems. The price was significantly higher than other companies who bid, so we went with someone else.

My new air conditioner is truly a work of art! I obtained several proposals and while most of them were within a few percentage points of each other in terms of cost, I chose Efficient Home Solutions. There were several reasons. First, David took the time to show me the math about my CFM airflow problem. I have been short about 800 CFM all these years and it's probably why my other unit wore out after 12 years. I got a 5 ton Lennox unit and David explained the differences between it and a comparable Trane (which I had previously installed). I think having a local company with access to parts in the future was a great reason to pick Lennox. The unit is a beast. Secondly, David brought his installation manager who carefully inspected my attic space and location of new return ducts. No one else brought theirs. This made a big difference because there would be no question as to what would work space-wise or not. Third, David also answered all my questions professionally and even explained many details I hadn't thought of (nor did any other service provider). I really like my Nest control and this unit cools within 40 seconds, and after 2 minutes, it's freezing! The family room is facing the hot west sun and now we can't even tell it's hot outside. I highly recommend them!

This review is about integrity and true customer service. David called me and guessed that the solution to my problem was to simply turn the HVAC switch in the attic from off to on. After spending $250 with other guys, all it took was one 2 minute phone call and he solved my problem over the phone. This means that David has real expertise and an attitude of true customer service. I've been in customer service for decades, and this is the kind of employee and company that has really got it all together for customers. This is why I'll always use this company and recommend them to everyone. Ask for David when you call. Thank you for saving me loads of time and further money!

It was a pleasant change to get a repairman who knew how to repair it! They are the 4th company I tried. None of the others knew how to actually fix a heating system. They could sell you a "cleaning" or a new system, but actually repair it ? Nope. So I was very happy with Arman and would absolutely use them again.

Awful! I scheduled my system check for a Saturday because I work full time. The service window (9-11a) came to a close and I had not heard from EHS or a tech so I called. I was extremely shocked and angry to find that on the weekend they have an answering service manning their phone coverage and the answering service was useless and did not provide any assistance or information. They kept telling me that I could place a service call. So finally I did place a service call just to see if I could actually connect with a real person or tech, and an hour later a tech did call me and I was told that my system check appointment had been canceled by EHS dispatch and the assigned tech. Obviously customer service is not a priority for EHS and taking care of their customers. I sent an email and received a response that I could call the office if I had any questions. I was beyond angry that they couldn't even make the effort to contact me to a) let me know my appointment was canceled, b) didn't apologize and c) couldn't make the effort to talk to me live about the problem they created. FYI, I had been a customer of theirs for a few years and had also previously purchased a costly attic insulation. Apparently loyalty and retaining customers is no longer a priority for EHS.
