"DJ Custom Cabinets (Don Dockery, owner) is a wonderful company to use for custom cabinet work. Last year we thought replacing the kitchen countertops and painting the walls would make our kitchen look more modern. After the work was completed, we realized that we should have replaced the kitchen cabinets as well. We had several contractors look at the cabinets and give us their opinion. We determined that DJ Custom Cabinets was the right team for the job. It was absolutely the right decision! Don has been in this line of business for over 45 years and felt 99% confident that he could put in new kitchen cabinets without removing the new countertops. He built a complex set of braces to hold up the countertops and was successful at removing the lower cabinets without any damage to the new countertops. He then slid the new lower cabinets under the braced countertops with no damage to the countertops. He replaced all the other cabinets as well. It was amazing to watch him do this. The cabinets are beautiful. His work is absolutely the best. Don and his team are great with communication and very respectful. We never had a call that wasn’t answered or returned quickly. He kept us informed throughout the process. The process was explained thoroughly. Timeline for work completion was right on. We highly recommend DJ Custom Cabinets for any custom cabinet work. You won’t be disappointed."

"I am so pleased with JNG! He came to lower the opening for oven to fit a new under counter oven. He did a great job and fit the old cooktop perfectly. He responded so quickly and came the next day! When my new cooktop arrived unfortunately a small specification caused it not to fit and I freaked out! The oven still needed to be lowered another inch, I called him just panicked because we had already been unable to use the oven for over a week, he came back at no charge to lower an additional inch 1/2 and offered to install gap filler once it arrives! It's so stressful when moving into a new home and you want everything to look and work well! I can now use my new oven and cooktop I am so pleased I called, and thankful for the work. "I chose to keep my existing cabinets and floors, but got new doors and hardware, new countertops and backsplash, removed popcorn from ceiling and took down wallpaper. I had the ceiling and walls textured and painted, as well as the cabinets. The cabinets and drawers look brand new!!! Alan from What’s Next Remodeling oversaw the entire process and was on site every day. His crew did a phenomenal job. I was told it would take 3 weeks, and it took only 2 weeks!!! Carlos came out and was punctual and very professional.  He knew about the types of trees in the yard, the soil conditions of the area, etc.  However, I did not have the work done as the cost was too much for me - $10,000 to remove the 7 trees (including stump grinding, wood chipping and haul off); $3,000 to trim the 12 trees.  I ended up using my yard guy, who has worked for me 10+ years.  He did the entire job for $3,500, including stump grinding.  Haul off was not necessary as city of Carrollton will pick up at curb every week at no charge.

All of the above being said, I would definitely call this company again if I had some sick trees or a job too large/complicated for my yard guy to do .
