"I have used Alex on several occasions, but most recently I had two tub surrounds retiled and they look great! Alex tore out the old tile, replaced some sheet rock as needed, replaced the old plumbing for the faucet and shower, and retiled. He provided all materials except the faucets. Alex is prompt, finishes on time, and always leaves the work area spotless. His pricing is excellent and his workmanship is first class. I highly recommend him and would definitely call him again."

"They did a wonderful job!!  (I had used another franchise grout company previously and it was incredibly expensive.)
Michael and Savalas were very professional and did exactly what they promised, plus more at no charge.  You could tell they really cared about the job they did and are working hard to build their business.
They polished and then sealed the marble countertops in the master bathroom and a guest bathroom and they look like new!  Even removed a stain on a countertop that I had tried every thing to remove with no luck.  They steam cleaned (by hand) the travertine and marble floors and then sealed them as well.  Can't believe how much better the floors look!  Same with the granite countertops in the kitchen, butler's pantry and bar area.  They removed old grout in three showers and re-grouted them with the right kind of grout (which was not used the last time I had them done).
Cannot recommend them more highly!"

"The materials showed up exactly as scheduled, the two installers came on the time/day they were scheduled. The installers were clean, pleasant, courteous and excellent installers. Our daughter actually enjoyed having them in her home! The work was finished a day ahead of schedule and the workmanship is perfect. Altogether they installed ceramic tile in a large bath area, laminate in the master bedroom, removed existing flooring in the hall and 2 smaller bedrooms and installed new laminate. Our daughter is delighted with the finished product as are we. Bottom line: Jose did what he said he would do in a timely, professional manner. We couldn't ask for a more positive experience and outcome. We would recommend and use him with no hesitation and, no, we aren't related!"

"The remodel went really well. We gutted two bathrooms and replaced everything. JPR Remodeling workers worked very hard to make our bathrooms beautiful. They were punctual, professional, fast and very accommodating. The workmanship and attention to detail is top notch. Their estimate was reasonable and the final invoice was very close to the quote. Our home is 36 years and as they walked through our home, they encountered several areas that needed repairs and they brought to our attention. When we asked for additional items to be replaced/repaired, they were able to do the work without delaying the remodeling process. This was our first remodeling experience and we could not have asked for a better contractor. We will work with JPR Remodeling on our future remodeling projects and will continue to recommend them to everyone we know."

"Fine Floors recently installed Anderson engineered hardwood in one of our bedrooms and I highly recommend.  Since it was just for one bedroom I really appreciated there was no minimum sq footage or an upcharge.  Kelly & Ash came out quickly to measure, worked with me to get the best price, regularly kept in touch and were easy to work with.  Jose and his team of installers were professional,  polite, cleaned up afterward and had great communication.  Jose noticed there were issues with the original wood and contacted the distributor to get a replacement.  This had to be inconvenient for him since he had to stop the job, pack it all up,  redeliver another shipment to acclimate and come back another day to install.  I really appreciated that he was more interested in getting the job done right than going through the motions to just get it done.  Over the course of the four times Jose was here I noticed he had the same team with him (I?ve heard other companies use temporary laborers).   I will definitely use Fine Floors and Jose to install this same floor in the other bedrooms and Ash said he would honor the same low price!

Marble Restoration questions, answered by experts

While quartz is highly stain-resistant, it is not completely stain-proof. Spills, including water, should be wiped up as soon as possible to prevent staining. Minor stains are usually not permanent and can be removed using a quartz-safe cleaner, a simple mixture of dish soap and water, or a baking soda paste applied with a soft microfiber cloth. For severe stains that persist, professional treatment may be necessary, and in rare cases, countertop repair or replacement might be required.

To remove cloudiness from marble, use equal parts baking soda and water to form a paste. Apply it to the surface, allow it to sit for at least two hours, then wipe with a microfiber cloth. Another option is adding a couple of dish soap drops to warm water and wiping the surface after you’ve applied it to the surface. You may also consider using a liquid stone cleaner.

Some of the cheapest ways to change granite countertops without replacing them include painting, honing, or changing the finish, covering them with tile or laminate, and using countertop contact paper. Dollar for dollar, applying countertop film is the cheapest, easiest, and most reversible way to update the look of your countertops. No matter what you choose, remember that permanently marring the original countertops can cost you money when you’re trying to sell your home, so make smart choices and preserve the integrity of the granite.

Rock salt and ice melts contain sodium chloride, aka salt, and are corrosive to metal and concrete. If used frequently over time, it can cause corrosion, discoloration, chipping, and cracking to patios, walkways, and driveways. You can try a rock salt alternative or hire a professional snow removal company instead.

Quartz countertops are known for their durability, but they aren’t indestructible. Quartz countertops can crack under extreme pressure, like when experiencing a heavy impact. The same can happen with regular exposure to high temperatures. Finally, improper installation makes the quartz more vulnerable.
