I appreciated the flat-rate pricing, which was honored for a larger home with air ducts that definitely needed cleaning. The owner twice showed me "before" and "after" photos to demonstrate what they actually did (a nice touch) and offered to send them to me in order to share with my wife (who wasn't present). I added the furnace cleaning option, which was provided at a slightly reduced rate (as opposed to an individual service call for that purpose), as well as cleaning out the dryer (just the unit, not the venting, which I completely replaced later). These add-ons were not forced, but simply offered as options "while we're here" -- thus both convenient and affordable. No complaints working with this company."

"The work was fine. However, after they left, I felt like an idiot for allowing them to push me into buying other-related services that resulted in the price more than doubling from the estimate. I knew that $99 was low for duct cleaning, so I talked about what other charges there might be & added dryer vent cleaning and furnace cleaning making the estimate $199. The technician suggested cleaning the air conditioner compressor outside, the water heater & some part of the furnace not already covered. I agreed to these extra services & expected to pay for them. However, I don't know why there was more to the furnace than that for which I already agreed to pay. And, I consider the amount charged for these services to be way out of line. I was an idiot for agreeing, but I don't like having been put in that position and I think they saw a sucker & took advantage of her. I'd prefer to know about other potential up-selling when I am making the appointment. If that doesn't matter to you, their work seemed fine."

"The crew of 3 were very polite and got to work quickly.  The only error was that although I asked to have the empty refrigerator cleaned, they failed to clean the freezer compartment.  Mike Newcome responded that this was a lack of communication on my part.  I believe that when you ask to have your refrigerator cleaned, it includes the small freezer compartment inside the refrigerator.  This was not a big deal however, as the total job was well done and cost effective.  I would use Details again.
