"My furnace would not blow out warm air. The blower would not come on at all. So, I contacted Atlas Butler Heating & Cooling. A technician was sent out to identify and correct the problem. After the technician ran tests to determine the proficiency of the furnace he came to the conclusion that I needed a new furnace; because the heating assembly and blower motor were inoperable, he said. The technician quoted the cost of the heating assembly to be $4,856 and to replace the Blower motor it would cost $1,506. The technician asked me how old was my furnace. I told him my furnace was installed in the year 2000. He then told me that over time, like anything else, things wear out. Not being satisfied with the technicianâ s conclusion I contacted the company SuperTec heating & Cooling for a second opinion. Mr. Cham Kahari came out and looked at my furnace and correctly identified the problem. Mr. Kahari explained to me that I did not need a new furnace. He said replacing the control board will fix the problem. Mr. Kahari replaced the control board and in doing so the furnace was returned its normal operations. I truly appreciate Mr. Kahari coming up with a proper diagnosis. I am grateful to have a normal operating furnace, again.
