We have a very steeply pitched metal roof on a two-story home with skylights and a turret. We hired M&H to remove many years of mold off our roof, clear and clean all the rain gutters and reseal our skylights. They responded very quickly to my bid request, and within the same day performed a physical onsite roof inspection, rather than just generating an estimate based on a Google Earth photo like so many of their competitors. We are seniors on a fixed income and this is a major expense for us. We solicited quotes from several reputable and highly rated roof cleaning companies. M&H provided us with an extremely competitive bid. Avi committed to a firm, fixed price upfront. All the other bids I received were subject to additional charges during the cleaning, Excellent results. Highly recommend."

"Of 5 bids, this was not the lowest, but since I had personal recommendations, I went with it. The week before the planned starting date I got a call asking if they could come several days early! Fortunately this worked for me. The crew was extremely hard working and pleasant. They put in at least one 12 hour day, and finished the job in 3 days. Branches from low trees created a problem for the truck in the driveway, but the workers were very careful, tying some branches aside to prevent damage. The clean up was satisfactory. Since the house is surrounded by shrubbery, I will probably be picking small bits of shingle out of it for some time to come, but these become visible only when I am gardening. I could not have expected the roofers to find all these. Old shingles are messy. If you don't want any dirt inside, keep you windows closed. I don't expect to ever need another roof, but if I had to, I would go with this company again."

"Because of delays in the siding project, the painting could not be begun until the beginning of October, which naturally brought about weather delays. Despite these hinderances, Emerald Coats did a terrific job. Scott, the owner, kept in regular contact with me, keeping me apprised of the progress. This was especially important given the fact that I do not live in Seattle. I cannot imagine a better working relationship, and I cannot imagine a better finished product. The siding was cement board and the color for all doors was a very dark gray, therefore these two different circumstances required extra attention and care. Scott selected a very high quality paint, and worked diligently around the persistent rainy weather. He and his crew did an exceptional job of painting my building. I certainly will work with Emerald Coats in the future."
