"Of 5 bids, this was not the lowest, but since I had personal recommendations, I went with it. The week before the planned starting date I got a call asking if they could come several days early! Fortunately this worked for me. The crew was extremely hard working and pleasant. They put in at least one 12 hour day, and finished the job in 3 days. Branches from low trees created a problem for the truck in the driveway, but the workers were very careful, tying some branches aside to prevent damage. The clean up was satisfactory. Since the house is surrounded by shrubbery, I will probably be picking small bits of shingle out of it for some time to come, but these become visible only when I am gardening. I could not have expected the roofers to find all these. Old shingles are messy. If you don't want any dirt inside, keep you windows closed. I don't expect to ever need another roof, but if I had to, I would go with this company again."
