Had mold issue do to poor ventilation in the attic. Marlon addressed the ventilation problem and other roof maintenance issues. Marlon was honest and a great person to work with. Will definitely use him again.

Don't miss out on Marlon's customer service! I had a small leak in my roof which needed to be fixed and Marlon came out promptly after writing through Angie's List. He got me a fix to my satisfaction immediately which I greatly appreciate. Not only did he address the cracked flapper vent, he went over everything to ensure nothing else leaks this winter. Marlon communicated clearly and explained my options without pressure. On top of that, when I mentioned we had kittens in our house, he was quite careful when walking in to see the problem area! Make sure to consult Marlon for any of your roofing needs. He'll be on the top of my list for sure!

Made a professional grade patch using high-quality roofing replacement materials. The roof is now good as new if not better. He quickly answered my call and made a special trip out to take a look at the problem and fixed the leak the same day. All for a price well within my budget. Highly recommended. Marlon and his crew were very responsive and arrived on time. They went above and beyond what I had expected... and I had high expectations. We had our roof replaced all the way down to the decking. Their rates were comparable to other local companies... BUT if you look at the details and compare what EXACTLY MCS Roofing and Construction was installing to the other companies' product, MCS's products (and quality of materials) were far better than the others. I highly recommend and would HAPPILY rehire Marlon and his crew for future construction jobs as I could have have asked for anything more!

Marlon removed the shingles where the roof is damaged underneath from a tree falling on it, fixed or replaced the damaged structure and matched the existing roof perfectly with new shingles. That was drastically cheaper than replacing all shingles. He found the water leak was due to a vent pipe and fixed that at the same time and per original quote.

Marlon arrived at my house to give me a bid for my roof soon after I called him. I agreed on his quote to start the job. A couple days later, the roofing material arrived at my house. The next day, the work began which required replacing a large portion of rotting plywood...which was included in the bid. The work was finished and am happy with how his company worked professionally and the quality of my roof looks great.

I was a bit disappointed at first as he didn’t notify me that he couldn’t make the original time on Friday. But he made up for it and came on Saturday to fix the damaged vent and also replaced a few damaged shingles and caulked a few additional cracks. Looks like my roof is in bad shape after the hot summer, and so we’ll have him come back next year to do a new roof.

We would not hesitate to higher Marlon and his crew for future work. MCS replaced our roofs and they look amazing and downright classy. We initially got three bids and his was the best. It took about two and a half days to complete the work which started soon after we accepted his bid. The crew worked the job in such a way that our private lives underwent no interruption. They were also professional, friendly and left our property in a clean state after the work was complete. We are very happy with the work of MCS (and we see that two of our neighbors across the street have since also used MCS to replace their roofs)!

Marlo was a real find. We had a serious leak on one of our single family family rental residences dating back to November. Initially, we had a so-called leak specialist for a $350 minimum fee who totally mis-diagnosed the location of the leak and blamed it on on a "debris dam" in one of the valleys. He said cleaning the roof would solve the problem. He didn't even enter the attic crawl space or put up a tarp. Turns out his "professional assessment" was on the wrong side of the roof. We cleaned the roof and and repaired the drywall. The roof began leaking again and the repaired drywall had to be repaired again; this time the damage was much larger. I called Marlo and he came out to the house the same day I called. He discovered the source of the leak and repaired it the next day. He had a sub do the drywall repair. Marlo provided extensive photo documentation of what was wrong and how he would repair it. They drywall repair was excellent; it was impossible to tell there was any damage. They treated for mold as well. What impressed me most was Marlo provided me a 10 year warranty to cover the roof repair AND any ensuing drywall repair. Marlo is very personable and energetic. He also did a minor skylight repair gratis. A real headache that had been plaguing me for months (unhappy tenants) was resolved in matter of days. God bless Marlo and his responsiveness and forthright honesty.

Excellent. Turn around was quick. They kept me up to date when their schedule changed or they needed extra materials. Price was as agreed and work was high quality. They cleaned up after themselves and they masked the painting around trim and the floors well. Gave me a break on price because I already had some sheetrock on hand. They also did maintenance and repair on my gutters and drainage on short notice with quick turnaround.

As part of the quote, Marlon's crew installed two solar tube lights, replaced the existing skylight, installed ridge vents on the house, as well as the attached and detached garages. They properly routed all exhaust fans to newly-installed vents, unlike the previous exhausts that just dumped into the attic. They also brought in a subcontractor to replace the gutters, included within the original quote. The work started within two weeks of the quote visit. All work was done to a high standard, and the crew cleaned up the waste daily. The roof was completed in six days, and the gutters were finished the following day. This was a pretty big job, covering a 2800 sq ft. one-story house, an attached two-car garage, and a detached two-car garage. We were very pleased with the whole process, from initial visit to job completion, at a price that came in under all of the other quotes we obtained. Since we liked their service so much, MCS will be on our short-list of contractors to perform a future interior remodeling project.
