"From start to finish we could not have asked for a better experience. I chose Cedar Creek Fences because of the exemplary Angi’s reviews and Dave and his crew did not disappoint. The quality of the work is top notch. From Dave’s first visit to final stain I give the entire experience an A+. I would recommend Cedar Creek Fences to anyone looking for a high quality fence at a fair price."

"Great, the work was preformed inside of 3 hours. The purpose of the work was to fulfill repair requests from the inspector (we are selling our home). The gate now closes smoothly. They also secured the fence edge by the house without drilling into the brick. The sprinkler heads only needed adjusting, turned out none of them were damaged. All cracks in the concrete were sealed up with Hydraulic Mortar. I am recommending them to my relators so they can use them in the future."

"I hired Millercraft initally to build my new shower and install all tile in the new bathroom. I ended up using Landry to complete the entire bathroom and build a custom closet. Landry built a new state-of-the-art shower using Wedi Board. Landry is punctual and completes tasks on time. When there is a delay, he communicates effectively. I highly recommend Landry and Miller Craft and will be using him again for the ongoing renovation of our home.

"Not so well, he used the same paint he did for the siding on my doors and now the paint on the doors are now peeling and melting away.  There is paint now on the windows and paint is on the doorknob as well.  Also where he put siding there is a big hole around the electrical socket where they cut too much away and also around the lock on one of my doors.  I have emailed him to come and fix the problem and he has not responded."

"We hired Recon fencing to install wrought iron fencing, entry archway and 20’ entry gates. Very satisfied with their work. Our neighbors hired them as well to install wrought iron fencing and gates after seeing the quality of their work. Nice guys as well and veteran owned!"

Wrought Iron questions, answered by experts

The most common type of metal fence today is one made of either steel or aluminum. These materials are relatively easy to fabricate, making them much more cost-effective than traditional metal fencing handmade from wrought iron. They’re also much lighter and easier to install, contributing to their affordability and making them more DIY-friendly.

Options include ornamental designs, custom gates, and various finishes. Consult with your installer for customization.

The depth of the fence posts depends on the height of your fence. If you’re installing a 6-foot fence, then digging 2-foot-deep holes for the fence posts will help ensure a secure installation. However, if you’re installing an 8-foot fence, the posts will need to be deeper than 2 feet to support the structure properly. Also, consider how far apart the fence posts should be to provide adequate support.

The cost to build a fence is about $3,100 on average, but you could pay anywhere from $400 to $13,700 or more. Your cost will depend on the length, height, and materials for the fence. If you hire a professional installer, labor costs typically represent about half of the total cost of the project. This means you potentially can save quite a bit of money doing the work yourself.

No, fence posts aren’t always set in concrete. If you don’t want to use concrete footings for your posts, expanding foam is a popular alternative. Expanding foam and concrete each have certain pros and cons. For instance, foam is easier to install and more sustainable, but concrete is sturdier and less expensive.
