"Rodger and his team are amazing! Their quality of work is outstanding, and I couldn’t be happier with my fence! I wanted to be able to still see the deer that come in my field behind my house, but yet keep them out of my yard and they did just that! I will recommend them to everyone I know who needs work done! Thank you again RJ Welding and Ranch Services!"

"Excellent work. Contractor welded panels together to form a 5-panel screen, welded extensions onto the base of each panel, and installed into concrete footings with a bond beam for additional structural rigidity. The panels look fab!"

"The guys at DRL Kustom Welding are fantastic! They installed the gate we needed on our time line and worked with us to get it done quickly and efficiently. They did a fabulous job and we plan to use them again soon as we are planning to add fencing to our property. We highly recommend them!"

"Buzz Fencing replaced several panels in a custom wrought iron fence so they exactly matched the existing fence. This required exacting measurements to fabricate the replacement panels and precision installation requiring welding, concreting, etc. Throughout this process Buzz met all of their commitments regarding the timing and the work involved. The work crew were all professional and polite. We were very pleased with the process and the end result and would use them again should the need arise."

Welding questions, answered by experts

Welding is the process of using extreme heat—and, sometimes, pressure—to attach two pieces of metal. In contrast, metal fabrication is a more involved process that can include welding, sheet metal work, bending, and other forms of metal manipulation. Metal fabrication is a large-scale project that may or may not involve welding, while welding is more often a step in larger fabrication projects.

This all depends on the tools you have on hand and whether you’re trying to cut a straight line or shapes.

The best tool to use for straight lines is either a circular saw or table saw. When cutting shapes, a jigsaw will be the easiest and most precise tool to use.

You should not do your own welding unless you have the proper training and experience. Most home electrical systems can only handle MIG welding, which creates weaker bonds than TIG welding and won’t work on certain metals or metal thicknesses. Both welding forms usually require the use of shielding gas, which can be dangerous to store at home. Additionally, welding machines create temperatures of over 3,000 degrees, and the sparks can blind you if you don’t have the proper equipment. As such, it’s usually better to hire a professional welder for your welding projects.

Yes, but you’ll need reliable steel-cutting tools and safety gear to get started. Shipping containers are typically around ¾ inch thick, so it’s entirely possible to cut through them, but experience and the right equipment are very important. When possible, try to get a container as close to the size you want it as possible.

Costs depend on unit complexity, labor, wall mounting needs, and additional accessories like floating shelves.
