"I used Angie's List to look for a plumber and was quite apprehensive based on reading so many negative reviews about how many dishonest plumbers are in Albuquerque. Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating & Cooling called and left a message for me and I called this morning. My toilet wasn't draining, after repeating plunging. Fore Gen Plumbing called and told me their starting price is $129 and I wouldn't find a lower price. They were wrong. Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating & Cooling quoted me $75 for auger service, from the toilet side. The auger didn't work, so the plumber offered $105 drain cleanout service. When the clog was cleared in 5 minutes, he told me the $105 included a 90-day warranty, free reservice if I have any more clogs, leaks, issues. Corey did an outstanding job, very impressed with his professionalism, courtesy, honesty and integrity. Not only did he call ahead, arrived early, he wore a mask and shoe covers."

The Ortega team shut down my heating units and serviced my evaporative coolers for seasonal operation. Each cooler was thoroughly cleaned and each cooling zone was tested for functionality and comfort. Additionally, they troubleshot and repaired one of the radiant floor heating zones that had continued to operate at a high temperature even when turned down to the lowest level. This was significant because a previous mechanical contractor had been unable to resolve this problem, which meant that this particular zone of the house always remained uncomfortably warm. Ortega Quality Mechanical had the expertise to readily fix this problem. He was very careful with his measurements and finishes so each job fit in seemlessly. Recently, I needed all of the stair noses removed and replaced. Andrew chose a sturdier wood for better long- term wear, finished/stained the wood, and installed them beautifully. People actually comment on how nice my stairs are since he re-did the noses. I feel he has a more thoughtful and artistic approach than the average handyman and it truly shows with his finished projects. "I appreciate that Lobo Plumbing responded very promptly to placing the request through HomeAdvisor and that Rob the plumber sent to my home was professional and courteous and got the job done right and was open to suggestions and offered his professional expertise in replacing the section of broken pipe. The fix has been in place for nearly 24 hours with no sign of leaking so far, so I think the job was done about as swiftly as can be expected and without negative incident."
