  • Micropure Water Conditioning
I spoke to the owner, Mike, on Tuesday and the system was installed on Friday. This was a replacement for a 14-year-old system (different brand) that failed so we knew what we were looking for and there was no hard sell or upsell involved, Mike listened to what I was looking for and recommended an appropriate system. The installation tech, Joseph, and plumber, John, were very personable, and the work was completed in a few hours and looks neat and tidy. Overall, a very pleasurable experience

  • Enchantment Cabinetry & Design LLC
We were very happy with Sal and his employees: Francisco, Oscar, Jose and others. We have a 1940's UNM house that needed new plumbing behind the walls and a remodel. The tile work and shower niche are beautiful! The walls are perfectly smooth and painted. The bathroom is beautiful. I am quite the detail oriented person and I am so impressed with their craftsmanship and attention to detail. Sal was very clear with his communication and responded right away to any concerns or questions I had. They were flexible when I needed to postpone the project and then completed the project very quickly once it had begun (done in just 8 work days!). The work crew was extremely respectful and cleaned up each day. They even added a few details I had not requested / thought of to complete the job. I highly recommend Enchantment Cabinetry. We are thrilled with their work

  • Unlimited Plumbing LLC
The plumber [Reyes] arrived promptly, was very pleasant, did the work quickly and neatly. When I asked about another problem, he immediately checked it out, offered a quick solution, and did the work with a minimum of fuss, even though it involved a nasty rosebush. I will use Unlimited Plumbing for any more work that needs to be done

  • Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling
I only do this when I have either a great experience or a very horrible experience. In this case, horrible. I first want to start by saying that our first apprentice plumber Nate was great!!! He was there the entire time and did a great job. I was calling them ahead of time by several weeks and was able to schedule to have a tech to come out to take a look at the area where we wanted a wash bowl to be installed. The problem is how long it took get the actual estimate since we needed to get this installed asap before opening day. There seems to be some form of discrimination. My wife called SEVERAL times and was never able to get anywhere with them, I was within hearing distance and she did everything I would've done, but when I would call I was always able to get what was needed done. I don't understand why this was the case, other than I'm male and my wife is female. This was also the case when I called them later to dispute the invoice. I had two plumbers arrive Nate and Gilbert. Gilbert had stated to me at one point in the day that it is his last day and his boss isn't happy about it. That was a red flag. This was mentioned when 80% of the work was already done. They arrived at 8:48am and then left because they forgot parts. Later returned at 10:18am and actually started the work. They left at 1:27pm when the work was "completed". They also apparently charge you for lunch breaks in the parking lot. That being said, in this link I clearly ask if the work that they are wanting to do will be the better and cheaper than the first initial option that was estimated: [*** Link removed ***] I am told yes, since the other route would be much more hours of labor and costly. When I got the invoice, it was for the original estimate and not for the actual work that was done. I called and spoke to manager by the name of JT, (who later refused to give his name to my wife) and he kept insisting on the price being provided to us as a favor and that the actual work that was done should have been much more due to labor. We explained to him that the actual hours work do NOT match the hours that we have recorded on video (video footage was not intentionally installed for them, that is just the location of where our security cameras are). Gilbert left several times to get parts. Let's say that they did need to travel to get the parts. Their main location is only 7 min away from our business and if they needed to go to a hardware store like Lowes, that is only 3 min away. Nate on the other hand was present 95% of the time. To top it off, the installation was NOT done correctly and they still had to come back the next day to re-do some of it. More hours that WE were charged for. That was not our fault that the work was not done correctly the first time. Even with the return of the plumbers the hours STILL do not add up correctly. Instead of meeting in the middle or actually compromising to get billed correctly, JT was very combative and talked over my wife the entire time of the conversation. This was not done to me. Only my wife. As the video stated Gilbert had mentioned the water heater solution was going to be a cheaper alternative, but JT said that once I signed the estimate, that was going to be the price that was going to be billed regardless if it was going to be cheaper or not. As a warning to consumers and other business, I would advise to stay away from this company, because they will charge you for products and services that are not provided. They really don't care for their customer or any perspective business as long as they get their money. They like to do "bait and switch". Clearly the business is quantity over quality. BEWARE

  • Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling
I had two other companies work on this problem. Both failed, but both took my money. ABQ P H C fixed the job right the first time. Should have gone with them in the first place would have saved money and time. Preston T. saved the day!

Plumbing FAQ

  1. How much does a plumber cost?

Answer: The cost of a plumber ranges from $175 to $480, with a national average of $330. However, the price will vary depending on job complexity, timing, location, supplies and materials, permits, and level of expertise. These costs typically include toilet repairs, faucet installations, and leaky pipes. In addition to the service call, you may also need to budget for haul-away and trip fees often required during more complicated jobs. Ask your local plumbing contractor about these fees before hiring them.

  2. How much does a plumber charge to replace a toilet?

Answer: On average, you can expect to pay your local plumbing contractor between $125 and $230 to replace an old toilet, with most residential homeowners paying around $150 to $180 for professional installation. You’ll need to consider materials and labor when calculating a final price. Not all toilets are equal. Depending on the brand you choose and the features you want, a new toilet might run you anywhere from $100 to $1,300. Add in the price of labor and installation, and your total project can jump up to $200 and $1,500.

  3. How much does a plumber cost to fix a toilet?

Answer: According to our service providers, it costs roughly $75 to $200 on average to have your toilet repaired. However, this price will vary depending on the complexity of the job and the materials needed for the fix. Repairs can be messy and less-than-pleasant to address, but having a functioning toilet is most definitely necessary. If you’re experiencing problems with your toilet, contact a local, reputable plumbing contractor right away, as avoiding repairs can lead to bigger—and more expensive—issues over time.

  4. Is liquid plumber safe for septic systems?

Answer: Good news! Liquid-Plumr® is safe for septic systems. Most drain cleaners disrupt the pH in your septic tank, which prevents the good bacteria from breaking down septic waste. The chemical make-up in Liquid-Plumr® works with the bacteria to break down waste quickly without harming your septic system. Still, it’s best to confirm with your local plumbing provider if Liquid-Plumr® is the right solution for your system.

  5. How much is it for a plumber to unclog a toilet?

Answer: Even the most well-maintained toilets experience clogs. It’ll cost you an average of $200 to $700 to unclog your toilet. Severe clogs will require a more comprehensive repair method, so check with your local plumbing contractor to determine the best approach for unclogging your toilet.

  6. Is Liquid-Plumr®, or any other liquid drain cleaner, safe for septic systems?

Answer: Yes and no. Liquid-Plumr® and other drain cleaners are most effective when used sparingly (one to three times a year). Repeated use of liquid plumber on drains could deteriorate your pipes and cause more damage. If your pipes clog frequently, put down the liquid plumber and call your local plumbing contractor immediately.
