"Christian and his assistant were very polite and considerate, and on time, and did their best to accommodate my chemical sensitivity. They found less expensive and chemical-free ways to do the work. They came back on Saturday to fix a leak by replacing a pop-up. I was very happy with their thoughtfulness and their work."

"We wanted to redo the tub and shower installation. The company representative showed us a wide range of materials and and roughed out a design based on what we indicated we wanted. He gave us the price for what we wanted and told us we would be notified when the materials came in so we could schedule the start of the project. The project required removing the old tub and relocating the plumbing and shower head to a different wall. They protected all the exposed areas from dust and once they started, it only took about one week to complete the job. They cleaned after themselves everyday after their work, and upon completion of the project. They do excellent work and the new shower enclosure looks great! I would recommend them to anyone doing a bathroom makeover."

"The service went very well.  I called and asked if a plumber could come and change our expansion tank off of our hot water heater and was told that the plumber would be there between 1 and 3.  About 15 minutes before 1, the plumber called and asked if he could come by.
The service at the house went well and he used buckets and towels to make sure he didn't spill water everywhere.  The water that did drip on our garage floor was cleaned up before he left.
They accept credit cards and are very professional, I'd use them again!

"Mr. Stressler was very easy to work with, and he did everything asked of him. His work met all of my expectations and specifications. Should I need any further remodeling, I would not hesitate to call Mr. Stressler. In category below asking for dates of service. But due to my travels, work was done in increments: master bath, kitchen, guest bathroom, and then in June a one day outside job in which a new door was put on a storage unit, and my security door was given a new coat of paint."

Plumbing Handymen questions, answered by experts

After finishing plumbing work in NM, secure a signed final inspection record for your files. For projects connected to a private well, test the water pressure, flow rate, and water quality to confirm everything functions correctly. Monitor your septic system load in the weeks following the project. If you complete work in the fall, verify that all exposed exterior lines feature proper insulation before the first hard freeze arrives.

Helpful?

When planning plumbing upgrades in NM, gather your well logs, water quality test results, and septic system diagrams. Note the age and construction type of your home, as historic adobe or log structures dictate specific pipe materials and access methods. You must also consider your property elevation and sun exposure to assess freeze risks. Finally, clarify whether the home serves as a full-time residence or a seasonal vacation cabin.

Helpful?

When hiring professionals for plumbing in Pecos, prioritize contractors with specific experience handling rural well systems and septic integration. You should also confirm they understand cold-climate installations and freeze protection for high-altitude properties. Always verify that your hired contractor holds a valid state license and will secure the necessary permits. Finally, ask about their emergency availability, as many professionals dispatch from neighboring cities and response times vary.

Helpful?

The high elevation of Pecos brings early, hard freezes that put unheated pipes at severe risk of bursting. You must protect exposed lines with proper insulation. Heavy winter snowfall restricts access to outdoor components, limiting exterior plumbing work to the warmer months. Additionally, the summer monsoon season brings heavy rainfall that saturates the ground, meaning you should schedule any drain field or septic work during drier periods.

Helpful?

Functional plumbing in Pecos involves well maintenance, septic repairs, and fixing freeze damage. Cosmetic projects focus on aesthetic upgrades but regularly expose aging infrastructure. Upgrading fixtures in older rural homes reveals outdated galvanized steel supply lines that demand functional replacements first. Because of strict state codes, a simple cosmetic fixture change dictates that contractors bring the entire accessible system up to modern standards before finishing the job.
