"I searched for someone to replace my fence and was called by Freddy right away. He was able to assess my fence using Google Maps and provide an estimate right away starting from lowest to highest. They offered interest free financing if paid off in two years, which works for me, with no up front costs. The fence is beautiful, the crew were all so professional and friendly and worked efficiently. I would recommend this company to anyone needing help with their fence."

"Abraham gave us an estimate in February which was lower than one of the big fence companies. Due to the whole Covid thing, they were backed up with work until May. In the end, I’m glad we waited. They removed an old chain link fence and replaced it with a 6ft. cedar fence. The fence was done with galvanized screws instead of nail gun and we chose pipe instead of 4x4 wood for uprights. This fence will last a long time."

"PRZ is professional, hard working, reliable. They did a great job replacing our fence and took care not to damage existing plants. They also left the work site clean. I’d definitely hire them for work in the future."

Customers say: True professional

"Eric and his crew were very professional, and fast! Eric addressed all our concerns and was quick to respond to text messages and any missed calls. Being able to send pictures to Eric made communication much easier and faster when trying to describe something we wanted changed. They properly installed an irrigation system with a shutoff valve, pressure regulator, automatic valve, back-flow prevention valve, filter and plenty of flush out end caps. Our family is extremely thrilled with the landscaping and our kids are especially excited about their bike racetrack!"

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Signs such as leaning posts, sagging gates, or loose panels in Santa Fe usually indicate a need for fencing repairs. Cracks in adobe walls or visible sun and wind damage also point to fencing issues. If you notice water pooling, shifting soil, or property line confusion, consider addressing drainage, surveying, or landscaping before starting any fencing project to ensure a lasting solution.

Helpful?

New homeowners in Santa Fe should prioritize installing privacy fencing for security and defining property boundaries. Confirm your lot lines with a survey and choose materials that withstand local sun and wind, such as UV-resistant wood or masonry. Make sure your fencing plans comply with building codes and any historic or pool-related requirements. Also, consider wildlife and xeriscaping when selecting your fencing style.

Helpful?

In Santa Fe, address fencing projects right away if you notice security risks, unstable structures, or encroachment on property boundaries. These issues are especially urgent before heavy rains. Cosmetic upgrades, minor repairs, or expansions can be scheduled for milder months. The best times for installation are spring and early fall, as winter cold and peak demand may slow non-urgent fencing work.

Helpful?

Fencing work in Santa Fe can impact underground utilities—such as gas, electric, and water lines—that often run near property boundaries. It may also affect drainage patterns, acequia systems, or septic fields. If your property has retaining walls, large trees, or is close to foundations, discuss these factors with your contractor. Always check for utility locations and coordinate with neighbors to prevent service disruptions.

Helpful?

In Santa Fe, standard residential fencing projects like wood or privacy fencing are typically completed within 1–3 days. Adobe or stucco wall fencing requires 1–2 weeks due to necessary curing periods. Wrought iron or ornamental fencing, especially in historic neighborhoods, may take 2–4 weeks. Permit processing can add 2–4 weeks, and seasonal weather—especially during monsoon or winter—may cause additional delays.
