"DAL did great work with our big job! They did a front and back deck replacement with additional repairs (back basement wall was in bad shape once deck came off and front window under deck needed reframing). Tim was the single point-of-contact for all the teams: concrete team for the front pad and piers, carpenter team for all the deck work, back concrete pad and piers and wall rebuild, and additional drywall team for rebuild finishing. When the need for repairs was identified, Tim clearly explained the issue and laid out options with rough cost estimates. We went with DAL because they had done a deck down the street last year that looked really good, so we didn't really shop around - that said, they probably aren't the cheapest, but any additional cost is evident in the quality of work and ease of experience! Last note - it took most of a year from contract to build start, so plan ahead!"

"Excellent job repairing our deck! The job was to power wash, replace boards as needed, and paint. The power wash and replacement of boards was well done. Two coats of paint were applied well. Our unhappiness stems from the finished project's paint not looking at all like the paint chip. We get that the actual paint job won't be a perfect match to the chip, but this was way off and way too light. We noticed as they were going into the second coat and said that it didn't look right. Even after it dried, the color was very much too light. I wish they'd had enough knowledge (?) to advise us of this before they got the paint. They kind of shrugged off our complaint because "this is the shade you ordered." We paid in full for the work they did. Then went to Menard's and found a darker shade of the same paint line that we applied ourselves. The deck looks great now."

"Mike installed some crown molding that we had purchased from someone who was remodeling their approx. 100-year old house that matched very closely to the molding we already had in other rooms in our house (also around 100-years old). Mike did an incredible job - it looks better than what we had expected. It looks like it's been there since the house was built, which is exactly what we were looking for. Their team arrives when they say they are going to arrive, they work quietly and efficiently, and never leave a mess when they are finished. Not once was there an issue with the measurements or the install of any of the products - everything has fit like a glove and looks beautiful. I found Chicagoland Home Products three years ago when my house was being built and I was not happy with the closet shelving gentleman that was hired by the builder to do all the closet shelving. I searched and found Chicagoland Products and met with Zach to discuss what I wanted in the closet shelving design. Zach listened carefully and got the designs perfect. We spent several hours at the house going through all the closet spaces, pantry and storage areas. My window treatments are beautiful. And again, exactly like the closets and the garage, I had a design meeting with Zach at the house and he had drawings and pricing for me in a day. "It went perfectly. Ivan and his team delivered what he said and it turned out better than we expected. He didn’t cut corners and made suggestions to make it better. We had a unique project. We had a deck above our front door rebuilt but the contractor did not finish the work underneath. We needed a ceiling put in, trim and a wood-box outline to complete the look. He also painted it. It was a two day project. They cleaned up nicely. Up to the start date, Ivan would text me with updates as to where we were on his list. I appreciated the constant contact."
