Mark was very professional and only quoted the necessary work. Work was performed on time and at the highest quality. Mark could have quoted unnecessary work but did not, It was an honest quote. He is one of the best contractors I have worked with. He keeps his word with high quality work and integrity.

Critical: Value I have used Campus Corp twice prior and have had no issues. However, I recently had them paint the exterior of my house. They charged $4,000 for just the siding. It was extra to paint the down spouts and soffits which doesn’t make sense because it not much extra work since I have home that doesn’t require detail like an older home. I called their salesman and told him I want the trim to be painted as well which would have cost me another $2,200 but had one of his guys do it as a side job to cut the price in half. The painter started to complete the trim around my house which I didn’t know that the money I paid was only for the soffits and gutters. The trim around my window was to be an extra cost! Felt like they nickel and dimed me this time which I was not happy about. I know I have a two story home and I’m not getting on a ladder to paint but I’d think paying someone nearly $60 an hour to paint my home is enough. The salesman made it right by calling the painter and not charging me extra to do the trim around the window. Not sure I’ll be using them in the future.

The persons who gave the estimate was professional. I stated I would like the work done around 0ctober 2017. First week of November I randomly get a phone call from Campus Corps. They said the Sloan start in next week. I said I can’t do that because I had family coming in for my sons birthday and they I would like a call back after the first week of November. To this day I ah ent received a call. Mediocre communication from this company. $100 non refundable deposit gone. If you want poor communication, this is your company.

It only took them 2 days. Excellent quality .5 stars. Their District Manager, Mark Marriot, was very knowledgeable and helpful. $2880 total cost , including a 20% Senior Discount. The painters Peter and Norbert were very skilled, they spackled all the picture holes, and dents. They sanded any rough spots on the walls. It really transformed our house. They covered all the floors, rugs, and furniture with plastic. They moved all the furniture for us. We really were impressed by their hard work. Monday, October 30, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Tuesday, October 31, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Amazing

They do painting, but they also do carpentry. Nothing was good about this experience. The work was horrible, they didn't use anything to square a corner, things don't match, they never drilled a pilot hole and used screws. They just hammered nails in and split wood all over the place. I have a couple of places where they didn't even finish putting together, I'm having somebody else do it before winter comes because they never came back out again. I have photographs of the lousy work they did. The owner of the company was a marine, so he wanted to call it corp. Everything I had told them very specifically, how I wanted the railing done, they went the opposite way. Everything was horrible. Then on the side of the stairs, they weren’t even going to put the risers in. It was just stairs and you could swing that sucker like it was a major earthquake. Then the guy stood there and looked me in the eye and said that I didn't have them before, yeah right. They damaged stuff and their attitude was horrendous. The job that they did is not worth $500. I never got individual receipts, when they did the staining and the boards. I don't know what they actually paid. When you use stain everybody else is legitimate, even a handyman. I never had a handyman that did not leave me the left over lumber, paint, stain and whatever, because you pay for that. Then they used twice as much stain as it should have taken. Nothing was itemized, absolutely nothing. I never got any of the leftovers. They would come and go, they were not consistent. In fact, anyone who has asked me if I liked the guys that did it, I had said no don't even think about it. I had a neighbor that came over who happened to be in the hardware store the same time they were buying stuff. He said dear God there's no way that they could have really been carpenters, because they stood there and told me they were all licensed carpenters. They never even used a level, things were cockeyed. They had to redo some of the stuff right away because things were cockeyed. They still never finished the rest of it, they were supposed to come back because of course complained. They were supposed to come back the following week, they never called or showed. I had said to the guy who is the salesman and the overseer, that I’m older, I’m in my late sixties, disabled, and a woman. I said that they have the idea that they have just hit the trifecta to being able to completely doubt people.

Excellent customer service. Answered all questions, presented options. Crew did excellent work, skillful repairs, meticulous attention to detail. Looking forward to using them again in June to stain our deck which they pressure washed in preparation.

Frank promised me that the furniture would be removed and all the oak woodwork would be taped. Neither was completely done. They left the large table and breakfront and manuevered around them constantly. The woodwork was not taped and there are numerous spots of paint on it. Several places were not plastered early enough to dry and have begun to crack. The room was not adequately sealed off so there is dust everywhere, including upstairs. Frank wanted me to pay an additional $1700 for extra hours. However, they worked 5.5 hrs. the 1st day, 6 hrs. the 2nd day and 14 hrs. the last day. Almost all the nicks in the walls were caused by their scraping. Isn't that a typical part of a wallpaper removal?

There was a slight delay in starting the project due to another project being done by the vendor. Our project was started a few days later than expected and the progressed steadily with a 2 or 3 man crew working for a few days. There was another hiatus apparently due to other commitments by the painters and also very hot weather and then the project was finished. I needed to ask/remind the painters to scrape all of the paint off of the window glass where it met the sashes and they then did so. Overall, the job was quite good, paint and caulk colors matched existing colors well and the area was cleaned up when the job was finished.

Quality of work and quality of materials were excellent. Paint crew not always on time but did stay late to get the work completed within our time frame. We like the contract they presented. I t was very detailed and precise as to what we should expect. Very satisfied with that.

Very good job overall.  Did exactly what was agreed to in the contract - scraping, power wash & painting of the trim and siding.  Just one guy did the work and it took over a week due to some weather delays.
The D rating for professionalism is because the guy who did the work was expecting upwards of $250 more because he thought he had done work above and beyond what the contract called for.  He did a really good job and I did give him a tip but thought he was out of line expecting that much more.  I do not  believe he did work beyond what was in the contract.  In fact I gave him a power stripper to use since I thought it would make it much easier for him to scrape since he was doing it all by hand.  At no time time did I ask him to do any extra work.
I used this outfit a couple years ago to do the same work on the south side of the house.  I was please with their work & price which is why I decided to use them again.  I would use them again despite this unprofessional experience.

They did a fair/good job. My issues were that they missed a spot on my house; I had to remove it myself. They also did not wash the underside of my deck and they missed some of the mildew. When they patched the siding, they used shipping tape and painted over it too.

It went very well. The work was very well done. My wife had a small complaint about the work, but they were willing to come back out and put another coat on to satisfy her.

The guy that sold the job never showed to make sure the work was being done correctly.   After they left I found work not done and items not put back.  All they worried about was the money.
Response from Campus Corps Painters
"This reviewer is either confusing our company with someone else, or is maliciously trying to discredit us. We have no record of doing any work for this homeowner or even at this address."

With respect to the work on the interior of the house: I was amazed at the quality. There were some serious cracks in the plaster/drywall from the house settling. The guy made the wall look brand new. They only charged me for painting the patches where they fixed it. But he actually painted the whole wall. He said that no matter how careful he was, and how closely matched the paint was, one would be able to tell that it had been patched.  I thought that was very considerate and professional, and I was very impressed.
The exterior was in pretty bad shape, and it did look very significantly better.  They had to work around shrubbery, and the repair of the very old siding didn't end up looking as though it was brand new. But I'm not sure anyone could have done much better.  The people were very nice to deal with. The house eventually sold, and that was the whole point of hiring CC Painters.

Overall the job is 95% complete and it looks great!
Here are the details:
The address given to the salesman was incorrect and the first visit started later than scheduled.  It was okay since I was not pressed for time.
On the day of the job, the salesman visited to discuss the work that would be done.  I expected the salesman to visit again at the end of the job to do a final walk through, since we didn't discuss final payment handling.  At the end of the job I asked the painters if the salesman was visiting at the end of the project and they said no, so I did mention one of the areas to the painter before he left, however, it doesn't look any different than when I made mention.
I paid the painters in full at the end of their final day.
I have tried contacting the salesman 3 times since the job was finished to review a few areas that don't look completed.
No return calls to date.  I would appreciate scheduling a follow up visit in order to get the finishing touches completed.
Thank you.

From the time they came to evaluate the work to starting was within 2 business days. The crew that showed up did great work, cleaned up after themselves and left the home exactly as they found it. They got all of this space done in 2 full and long days! It all looks great.

I called for an estimate, and Jon came out to inspect for the project.   He is very polite, personable and easy to work with.   We discussed several options, and he provided the estimate.   We agreed on a price, and Jon then cheerfully accepted an Angie's List coupon for 10% off, saving me several hundred dollars.   His crew arrived when scheduled, did a good job, and didn't leave any mess when they were finished.   I recommended Campus Corps to a friend, and she has used them twice for interior work, also with very satisfacory results.
