"Illinois Tree Service is beyond a top-quality company. They removed 7 large trees from our backyard, grounded 4 stumps, and trimmed a tree in the front yard. It looks amazing. They removed piles of brush I collected without request and reinstalled a chain link fence to perfection after they removed it to access 2 hard-to-reach trees. "2/14/26 Nic Trees Fidel's service definitely deserves 5 stars! He climbed up the tree to cut down and remove a huge tree branch that was blown and fallen onto our roof. He worked very skillfully and carefully to section the branch and lowered the trunk pieces onto the ground away from our house. He is very responsive to our call for service, came to price out the job the next day, and had the job done two days later. I highly recommend his service!!!!!"

"I can't even begin to express how wonderful it was to deal with Fernandez Tree Service. The recovery time for pruning depends on how much you prune, the species of tree, and how well you care for it afterward. All trees grow new wood and often sprout additional branches after pruning. Ideally, trees should recover from normal pruning after one or two years. Heavy pruning or slow-growing trees may take several years to fully recover.

If a tree stump is removed properly, the chances of a tree growing back are low. However, if a tree has a robust root system, roots can sometimes sprout and someday grow into a tree. The chance of regrowth will depend on several factors such as the type of tree, soil quality, and strength of the root system. In general, it is not recommended to plant a tree where a stump was removed.

It depends. Smaller, younger trees take longer to mature, but they're more resilient, their roots don't get as damaged during transplanting, and they recover faster. Plus, they're much more affordable to plant, and it's possible to DIY the planting. 

On the other hand, mature trees produce fruit faster and provide more shade and privacy immediately. Ideally, a small or medium tree is the better choice if you can wait a few years for it to mature. But if you need immediate maturity, a larger tree is the only option.
