Without any sales pressure at all, he and his equally expert associate, Matthew, made an inspection of our water pipes and discovered three issues: 1) the "water shutoff valve" at the base of the house was actually a gas shutoff valve!, and 2) a number of our water pipes were galvanized pipe instead of the desired/required copper pipe. While under the house, Matthew spotted issue # 3) and photographed it: one of our heating ducts had become disconnected, thus pumping hot air into the crawlspace! So, we are having Plumbtree Pumping come back to make a thorough estimate to correct items 1) and 2). (And our HVAC people will fix item 3)!) "So far so good. Snaking of kitchen sink with very old pipes. Hopefully snake did not poke pipes. Only time will tell. Keeping fingers crossed. They did a good job explaining and triple checked for leaks before they left. Of course they tried to upsell and gave us a metal trap they did not quote us upfront for. We would have chosen it over plastic, but price difference would need to be cleared upfront. That's the only negative. Otherwise, thus far we are very happy with the result.
