"I want to say a big thank you to Plumbtree plumbing and rooter. I had a drain backup and called another plumbing company, who came out and cleared my drain, but 2 days later I was back to square one. Frustrated, to say the least. A friend of mine told me about plumbtree plumbing and rooter and their positive experience with them. So I called. I was impressed to say the least. When Josh, the plumbing technician came to the door, he was very friendly and very courteous. He only entered my home after putting on shoe covering to protect my floors. He assessed the situation and suggested that after he clears the drain that he should camera the line to find out why the backup reacurred. After clearing the drain he camera the line and found that I had a collapse mainline pipe. He was able to uncover the pipeline and repair it. Such a great relief to get to the bottom of my problem and have it repaired in 1 day. I definitely got what I paid for the first time around. Cheap is not always the way to go with plumbing issues. Plumbtree plumbing and rooter was well worth the money. Honest, friendly and caring. They went the extra mile for me. I would highly recommend these guys"

"They did a number of things. Braced and restrapped water heater and ran copper line for pressure relief to outside. Unclogged master toilet and reseated. Bolted down second toilet. Reconnected clothes dryer vent. Repaired air gap/garbage disposal and drain line under kitchen sink, crawled under house and remove galvanized pipe straps and replaced with nylon pipe clamps. I was a contractor and used to do this work, o an very critical. They did an outstanding job. Went the extra mile several times. I was expecting a bill for a higher amount but they stuck with their estimate. I recommend them highly and would use them again!!"

"Plastic pipe cracked, and shower/toilets were slowly draining. Chandler’s crew replaced cracked portion with temporary pipe so bathrooms and sinks can be used again the next day. They replaced the old plastic pipe with a more flexible material and also changed out the old clay main pipe. It took about 3 days to repipe, and cemented back the driveway and walkway where the problem pipe originated. "Can not imagine a better response, starting with my call for assistance, response time and how the technician, Tad methodically diagnosed the problem. We have an obscure kitchen fixture that required service in Feb 2019. Under warranty the problem was easily diagnosed by me, a problem possibly caused by me and a replacement part sent and installed by Albert Nahman team. Problem: I broke the faucet cartridge. Current Problem: restricted hot water flow in this kitchen sink only. Turns out the new cartridge part is now malfunctioning. I called and Tad arrived taking a step by step approach ruling out possible causes: a clog here or there, build up of sediment, or blockage in the lines or cartridge. The company that sells the product got on the phone with Tad and they collaborated on the problem and the tech person gave Tad one more thing to try. After the collaboration it is agreed, problem persisted and therefore that new cartridge part is now malfunctioning and will be shipped free of charge in two days. Thanks to all, who made this possible and I trust we will have Tad here again soon to finalize this fix. BTW, cost of service was less than expected given going rates for such a call lasting in excess of one hour. Another comment, spending time with Tad during the repair was a pleasure to have him explain, collaborate, listen and just chat. Questions on who to call next time, no question who I will call next time. I have read criticism of costs: In the Berkeley area "How much does it cost to hire a plumber? Today costs are upfront, same as charges in Feb, $69 to arrive and assess the problem. Here in excess of one hour for $129 minus $25 coupon, total charge $173. I am ok and I expected these costs. If I was in Philly, where I grew up, I could call an uncle or cousin and get a better rate, a family rate. This is going rate for our area."
